Worst propaganda film ever. If you want good Rambo film with a real depth, educational background and relevant message, go watch the third one, probably the most spiritually imbued film i've ever seen in my life. Definitely the only truly artistic film of the series, which is kinda sad.

man.. second was just an action film.. but first blood was much more than that, you would feel his agony of being a reject in this film.. stallone's best performance i'd say ... after you see this film its really hard to picture stallone in anyother role... but ofcourse, he pulled of the same trick in rocky a few years before this.. :)

i heard that when stallone jumped off the cliff (doing his own stunt), and fell into the trees, he broke his ribs, and the actual moment is still in the film, it's just before it cuts to him hitting the ground. You see him fall and hit his chest on a thick branch. Nasty.
