  • i love your videos but i hope you understand there are diminishing returns.

its not a linear relationship where you lose .5 bf every week. thats not sustainable or possible. it in 4 weeks your machine says that you have gone from 12 % to 10 %, you gotta check the batteries on that thing

cant wait to start p90x2 tho! ur a great inspiration !

  • I watch a lot of you work, and you do a great job on the cardio training. A little more muscle up top will burn more calories because muscles consume more calories. Add that to the fact that a little more muscle up top will give you a faster metabolism you will be burning more fast asap.

You would have a build more like brad Pitt in Fight Club.

    Slim, and cut

Once a week I tell ya, good luck, and thanks for the videos.

  • @TheKingpelu You're right, I have done a lot of cardio stuff. I appreciate you following along with me. I started this current routine just around Nov 22nd which is built on 4 weight days. Once a week on a chest specific workout I go to my local gym (on site here at my apartment) and do 4 sets. Usually heavy weight / low rep and work down to my 4th set with lighter weight / higher rep. i.e. last time was 160lbs, 8 times; 150lbs, 9; 140lbs, 10; 130lbs, 10-12 whenev I hit failure.

  • @TheKingpelu But i've only been doing this 3 weeks so thats a whopping 3 times at the gym. Just give me some time and I'll add a little more lean muscle. I'd say check out whats going on come end of Jan/ mid Feb. That will be 2 - 2 1/2 months with my training. I totally agree with adding muscle/ burning fat. The total truth.

  • That exactly what I'm saying, alot of people have the misconception that bench press will just bulk you up over night, That's not true. If you start bench pressing once a week you will cut up faster since bench pressing uses most of the upper body muscles. Baseball players, runners, and swimmers still bench press, and they're the slimmest athletes. Check out Michael Phelps workout regimen, and you will see what I'm talking about. I'm sure no one on here will call Phelps a body builder.

  • @TheKingpelu Yes, alot of people do. I know what it takes. I do go to my local apartment gym and usually finish my chest workouts with 4 sets of chest press. However, I have been training like this, including everything I mentioned in the video for just over 3 weeks. It takes time dude. You said it yourself. You're the one that said I "need" to train a specific way. No I don't =). You didn't even ask what my training consists of or how long I've been on my current routine

  • @TheKingpelu P.S. I was a swimmer for 5 years back in the day, I know the swimmer build =). LOVE swim training, def a hardcore routine!

  • great job jason keep it up

  • You need to hit the bench press bud, and put on more muscle. That will increase your metabolism and thicking u up up top.

  • @TheKingpelu appreciate the feedback but I am not going for bulk. I want to remain lean and just get more shredded. If I decide to train for size I'll be sure to hit the heavy weights and I'll make videos. Right now it's just about trimming while maintaining my current size.
