  • It triples the excitement given by the social networking applications today.

  • this applications doubles the speed of technology! Stanford never fails to amaze me!

  • This is a great work for Stanford students. Keep it up!

  • WWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWW

    Awesome

  • What an idea!!!!really impressive....:-)

  • Thats really cool guys but why not just put the sticker on the phone? or does it have to be on the remote?

  • It is an awesome idea, but requiring a physical contact every time you wanna view a photo or change a slide seems a little bit cumbersome. This is just my personal understanding of how it works.

  • これはすごいわ!NFCとビジネス、もっと緊密になります!

  • Now THIS is what the future is going to be like.

  • Aren't Blutooth or WiFi more convenient?

  • @FlumenSanctiViti it seems like they are only using NFC to acquire the needed info and then using an alternative protocol (like bluetooth or wifi) to do the actual communications. If thats the case I don't know why they just don't use QR codes for the same purpose because every smart phone out there has a camera. That's academia for you, finding a way to over-complicate the problem so that it's worth a paper.

  • @binaryblade2 Oh, that makes more sense! So they use NFC to negotiate protocols between devices. Perhaps NFC uses less energy then camera? Or maybe it's faster?

  • Wow, this is so impressive. I'm sold on this concept for sure.
