Firstly he has always told us of his dreams and how he will work hard to get there and while he is not there yet you can see the difference and it is positive. I met B. Scott twice and each time he was the most down to earth person, who gave nothing but warmth and wonderfulness. And to be fair, he was "beat", so why not admit it. I wish him much more success!!!!

B Scott knows something that many of his viewers does not and that's simply this: he can make a million inspirational videos and post them daily but if you don't know how to inspire yourself his videos are meaningless...the main people that are getting upset are the ones that can't make it without SOMEONE to hold their hand. @iwannabeit I haven't read very many posts at all by people who don't want B to get his...I think the manner in which he appears to be getting it is where the disconnect is. Some people believe that you get what you can get however you can get it. B Scott is grown....and he can do whatever he pleases. Superficial fluff is okay for a minute, but we have the Kardashians for that. B has a lot more to offer..if he can put the bottle, the mirror and the Mariah down for a minute he might realize that.

But this video isn't nearly as bad as his "give me my 10's" mess...instead of using that cheap champagne as a sidekick in his next video I think he should be seated next to Dr. Drew.

@leadingbyxample There is a difference between turning on someone and offering constructive criticism. Except for a few low budget homophobic remarks here and there, I think the overwhelming majority of people who have expressed disappointment in B are not hating, nor are they wishing for his demise. A lot of his "love muffins" lust for celebrity and he is as close as they will ever get...so they won't ever criticize him. Others notice how shallow he's become and they (we) comment on it.

@MissThingSings With all due respect, your last sentence proves my point beautifully. As long as B is acting according to the wishes of his fans, all is well. Once it is "perceived" by the masses that he has become shallow, attitudes change, accolades are not longer awarded. In short, the very people that put you on the pedestal attempt to dethrone you. People "perceive" him to be shallow. That does not make him shallow.
Conformity is the order of the day. It makes us all feel better.

@leadingbyxample With due respect in kind, if people perceive him as shallow (and many do), and he actually isn't shallow, then he has failed. As the saying goes, perception is reality...this is especially true if -as it seems- he wishes to have a career in which public perception is a major factor. This video in particular is beneath B, or at least it should be. He appears high, shallow and delusional...on his best day he won't be mistaken for Oprah and some of us don't mind telling that truth.

I can't argue the perception is reality argument because I don't agree with that statement, however I understand what you mean: when you have a career that is based on what others think of you, it's best to dot your I's and cross your T's. In essence what I hear you and others saying is B. Scott used to act in a way that made us comfortable, etc., and he is no longer acting that way. My point is he has no obligations to anyone but himself.

@leadingbyxample Actually, if B wishes to have product endorsements and a career in media/entertainment -and he clearly does- then he certainly is not just obligated to himself. Keeping that job is dependent on pleasing the masses, and a certain standard of behavior must be maintained. That is why perception is more important than reality...he can be the most intelligent and substantive person on earth, but if his actions (like this video) lead people to believe otherwise he has failed himself

@the1lique It's not going to be so meaningless here in American for a gay man who chooses to dress like a woman. B is a minority three times over, and unfortunately he is going to be scrutinized much more than a straight person would be. Therefore, he would be well advised to be more careful with his image...if he continues to appear high, shallow and opportunistic he's going be unemployed in Hollywood...unless he has an amazing talent that we've yet to see.

I don't get why everyone is saying he changed. Of course he has changed. He has been given many great opportunities which means he is not in the position he was in before. If people have embraced him more than ever before of course he won't still be telling sad stories of his life. Anybody that says they arent pleased for Mr Sessums is a liar but all I am saying is that as someone whose life was changed for the better watching B Scotts videos back in the day it is shocking to see what an air head he has become.
I faced a difficult time some time ago and if it wasn for Bscott I don't know if i'd actually be here today so THAT IS WHY the Bscott in this video repulses me.

I'm over it. The reason has to do with B.Scott himself. In one video he said that he would come every Monday come hell or high water. In the next video, he said that his viewers shouldn't be upset if he doesn't make consistent videos. I'm all for change and growth, but for me...don't promise something and then kind of spazz when people call you out on it. So.............having said that, I know what to do with my little subscribe button. Be well. Much success to you in the future.

This video is the perfect example...there was no reason to mention her, but her name dropped out of his mouth effortlessly. To me, that's not high self esteem or success..it is opportunism and insecurity. I can only speak for myself...I don't find other people's success threatening..I find it inspiring. I'm glad about it, not mad about it..not every critic is jealous.
