  • I didnt know there were 2 sides two space mt. I just rode it last week, EOIC WIN!!!!

  • omgeee i rode t his when i was like 7 and it scared me half to death

  • Sorry to burst your bubble but Space Mountain is currently closed for refurbishments. It is scheduled to re open around November 21st.

  • Has anyone noticed that at 0:43 you can see another train flying by you in the lift hill bay?

  • Yes lol I pointed the camera over that way so you guys could see it. I love that part, gets me pumped.

  • I really wish that Disney would upgrade this ride like the one in Disneyland, like putting music with the ride.

  • They are making it the best Space Mountain after is refurb

  • Do you know excactly whats being done?

  • please go to my channel and you will see the info in my channel description

  • spacemountain mission 2 supernova dysnyland resort paris the win with the inversions (loops corkscrews and stuff) yup thats cool Nice music to

  • i love this ride!!!! ive been there before

  • i've ridden both sides 3 times each (boy did i have fun doing that! :) ) and i have to say Alpha is better. You'd think they'd give the fast pass lane (omega) the better one. Trust me, ppl, Alpha is worth the wait!

  • We ride this 15 times a day!

  • Actually,The Lines don't determine which side you go to. They take a bunch of people from the stand by line and then fill up which side has less people, and then they do the same with the fastpass. I have ridden both sides on the stand by line.

  • Well, either way, Alpha is the better side and I'm usually put on it when I'm in the non-fastpass lane.

  • Alpha is the better one because it has a bigger drop and it is just more fun.

  • Yes, it is. I hope they haven't make too many changes whenever I get to go.

  • What's the difference between the two sides?

  • There is none. Just mirror images really. Both have same speed and height and everything.

  • @silvercrew1 i went on a ride when i was little that i think was space mounain doe his have like planes and stars out in the distance?

  • The a side is called Alpha and the b side is called omega

  • when i got on this ride when i went this spring break, the view was covered w/ glowing stars. not so dark.

  • Is a faster than b?

  • Last I heard if I remember right they both go the same speed, one might just be a little more rough than the other which makes it seem faster.

  • well this one has a little bigger drop

  • yea

  • are the drops big ?

  • nope not at all, only 3 and they are only about 20 to 30 feet high I think. Don't worry about it, you have to ride.

  • $ drops

  • They are only 30 ft tall and there are 4 the first is 10 feet, the second is 10 feet also, the 3rd one is about 20 ft, and the final drop is about 30 ft which then you reach the top speed which is only 28 mph but it seems like 50

  • do both sides do the same thing?

  • Basically, they have different layouts but are the same speed

  • they do exactly the same except they are opposite i.e. the left side takes a left turn and the right side takes a right turn. you do the same except opposite turns. but side B is a little rougher, they both have a top speed of 28 mph. side a is called Alpha and side B is called Omega. If you or anyone has questions on any ride at disney don't be afraid to ask i have a whole book on the rides, just e-mail me.

  • I must have rode side A because this one looks more familiar than side B.

  • ya just a way I remember them is that side A turns left before heading up the lift and when you get to the station you walk to the left to ride that side and the opposite for side B, I'm such a nerdy coaster geek haha

  • This side is rougher than side B

  • ya I couldnt really tell cus I only rode this side twice and side B once so i think I need to ride it more to decide, by the way to count Space Mountain as 2 credits or one?

  • 2, totally!

  • yay lol sweet! but ive only been on one side of primeval whirl :( lol

  • I'm guessing I was too fat, this past summer, to recognize the roughness. I went with my school for a conference and that time that i went to disney, I rode on side B, and then I went on Side A when i went on a family vacation. Both felt "like a coaster ride," not smooth, not rough, but just like a ride.

  • well how would that mean your fat? it probably feels like that because on only going about 30 mph

  • Fat equals shock absorbers. Just kidding...., well I'm not sure. True, the thing does only go approx 27mph, so i guess thats y i couldnt feel it...
