Really helpful video. I was about to give up and just order the 250GB HDD so I can play original xbox games on my 4GB Slim because the other vid I watched involved gluing bits on so it slotted in properly. Now that I know I can buy that casing I'm sold!

Looked it all up on ebay and I can buy a 20GB original 360 HDD, a torx screwdriver, and the casing for £20! That's around $30 compared to £60, so I'm paying a third of what I would have done - and that's a lot just so I can play Morrowind! Thx!!

Well at least I managed to borrow Morrowind off a friend (lost my old copy moving house), because that was gonna cost me £25 to buy again (about $40). Paying for stuff you've already bought is frustrating as hell.

Yes. You can. but it will require that you have the adapter for the sata to connect to the original xbox 360. if you take an old one apart you'll find that it is bundled in the hdd casing.

So basically take it apart and you will find that inside the old Xbox 360 hdd case there is a sata port hdd. You can even ebay for a xbox 360 slim HDD cover caddy and put the OLD Xb360 HDD in the new cover and there you go... The only warrenty void would be on the HDD if it has one. I took but 26 sec.. into the video when noticeing this.. And only came here b/c i thought u was going to get a TB HDD and program it.. If i stay and watch more ill waste my time here... the end!!!..

@thefailmaster357 Yes you can, you can even order yourself one off of ebay... Or use the one your slim has.. But it may void the warrenty on the HDD if you take it apart, that is if the HDD has a warrenty on it... these are 2.5 sata HDD's so they are standared on how they fit, even on a laptop but xbox requires a speical program into their HDD..

@MrCenafan4 you do not have to copy/move anything. the only difference is that the casing for the hard drive on the slim different from the original. its the same hard drive, the console still reads everything the same. hope this helped :)
