@deakon452876 none taken, but lets think about this. the early jw church rejected the (at the time) current christian faith. they claimed everyone else was wrong and only they had it right. they broke off keeping some and rejecting some christian beliefs and values. they reject scriptural doctrines such as the trinity, the deity of christ, and salvation through grace and faith alone. they broke off and became their own body with their own in name because of these irreconcilable differences.

Acts 10:39 the end states that they did away with him hanging him on a stake. clearly showing what Jesus was put to death on. He saw the print of the nails in his hands. the greek word stauros can at least in pre koine greek be translated as stake however in koine greek. the form of greek spoke at the time of christ the word was used for cross it also appears to have been used on a wide range of executional structures.

@jazzbassf I'm done, I'm NOT saying dont bring kids to church, don't teach them about God I'm saying (from experience) and also talking to JWs that all agree with me, that the meetings are very boring for little kids (0-9ish) why not have a kids church (like my church) where kids learn about the Bible ON THEIR LEVEL like at school!!! Also I have watched conventions, I saw how restless kids were and how frustrated parents were trying to control them, not even being able to listen to speaker...

@deakon452876 none taken, but lets think about this. the early jw church rejected the (at the time) current christian faith. they claimed everyone else was wrong and only they had it right. they broke off keeping some and rejecting some christian beliefs and values. they reject scriptural doctrines such as the trinity, the deity of christ, and salvation through grace and faith alone. they broke off and became their own body with their own in name because of these irreconcilable differences.

So if there is a difference in nature because of the decriptive prefex "Al" then Jehovah must be inferior to Jesus because in Pslam 23:1 Jehovah is merely Shepherd. But Jesus is the great Shepherd in Heb 13:20 and Chief Shepherd in 1 Peter 5:4, also Jehovah is described as "Mighty God" in Isaiah10:21

the greek word stauros can at least in pre koine greek be translated as stake however in koine greek. the form of greek spoke at the time of christ the word was used for cross it also appears to have been used on a wide range of executional structures.

Do anyone know that the name of God (JHWH) was removed from the holy book around 200-300 AD? JHWH was mentioned over 7000 times in the old text. If you take the trip to the museums where they are located,you will see that the Watchtower bible is the most correct one. They were allowed to translate from the original texts.

@andyandyband Yahweh is in Hebrew ,here in the English we use Jehovah , just like we use Jesus and not Yeshuah since it is in the common language here in the USA

well it is quite easy:
if Jesus read the old testament or a discipel quoted the old testament and in the old testament it reads : JEHOVAH, would then not it be logic that they pronounced or read or used Jehovah too?
so Jesus quoted in luke 4:18 “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor,,
Isaiah 61:1-11
1 The spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me, for the reason that Jehovah has anointed me

@afterraincomessun the problem with ur answer is the name Jehovah is not in there so they didn't translate it that way
another question in acts4:10 says The father ressurected jesus,, John 2:19-20 says jesus raised the temple in 3 days. temple of his body,, Romans 8:11 says the holyspirit did it as well now was there 3 different ressurections or are these 3 the same being???

@afterraincomessun So for my other question u wont answer that either? all i am saying is that jehovah's think because people use God or another title that jehovah is not being glorified. Were in fact he is because we awknowledge the Father Son and Holy Spirit as 1 being God and proves in scripture just look at the verse's in my last post

In the Bible it says NO MAN has Ever saw the Father for that statement to be true abraham must have saw another person except the father in Genesis chapter 18 and 19 Abraham sees God,Lord
and guess whast he never called him micheal called him Lord so if no one has ever saw the father who do u think they saw

I like how u guys think your bible is most accurately translated One of the founders believed he could talk to spirits and also predicted the end of the world 4 times maybe 3
after all of this u jehovah's still believe them Watchtower has been discredit so easily

I like How nobody will ever say who translated the NewWorldsTranslation they say there cholars dont need to be mentioned lol but were 2 of the Best scholars in that field disagree with the NewWorldTranslation

@chrisandstaci these so called Bible Scholars have removed the Name of the Most High God from the Bible, yet the bible is very clear at Act 15.14' God is taking out of the nations a people for His NAME........yes they removed the name from the Bible so now we know who God's people are ......Jehovah's Witness... the Churches of Christendom don't want to be associated with this name it is amazing how the Bible makes things so clear doesn't it Jehovah's Witnesses are God's people acts 15.14

Every scholar believes Yahweh is the better way to say it. I have noticed u never have any proof for your claims except for see its there.To know why its there u should investigate why,when u don't makes u look dumb for not knowning maybe the watchtower forgot to tell Jehovah's this go figure

When Jehovah's Witness in 1931 took on the name almost every Bible Translation has removed the name , in order to not associate Christendom with Jehovah's Witness see Act 15 .14 and see why .Ron something to think about????

@chrisandstaci you are right about Yahweh, except this is the name in the Hebrew language and in the American language it is Jehovah or should we translate Jesus name to the original Hebrew by the name of Yeshuah ? and no one knows how to pronounce the name of Jesus since the vowels are not known and this is a fact which you are not told about and if you do the research you will know this to be true.....Peace friend

@chrisandstaci God ressurected Jesus, Jesus did not ressurect Himself did He ?, of course not , but He put into Motion his ressurection by dying faithfully, so that he could say he ressurected his body because of his faithfully dying . If Jesus did not truly die then we are all dead in our trespasses, we are to be pittied. Jesus was ressurected by his Father Jehovah God. Many try to twist the scriptures by saying that Jesus ressurected Himself.Jesus was the Son of God not God the Son.

The oldest reliable source texts extant used for translating from source to the New T were:
1) all in Koine-Greek.
2) not one of them contain the tetragrammaton.
3) they number into about 5000 fragments, covering almost every verse in the New T.
and;
Hebrew versions, used by the Society, containing the tetragrammaton are translations from the original Greek source into Hebrew and are 1000 years YOUNGER!
These are undeniable facts. Ask any university ANY!!
