It was just a few years between the albums Go To Heaven (1980) and In The Dark (1987) but the Grateful Dead toured during that entire time with the exception of Jerry getting sick in 1986. They played Touch Of Grey, Hell In A Bucket and the other songs that would be on In The Dark as early as 1984. I caught at least a few shows every summer from 1984 until the end in 1995 with the exception of 1986. Great times!!!!!
