  • She's hungry and you give her 5-7 fucking ANTS, of course she's pissed..

Like giving 1 small bit of chockolate to a PMS woman..

  • Teeklip uhm this is an anteater....? smh....

  • 0:28 He looks like he wants to hug :))

  • Am I the only one here thinking this species belongs in the wild instead?!

  • @DTia88 Probably not but you're wrong. Tamandua have a long history of being kept by natives. People have only kept hamsters and gerbils for about 60 years. Every species kept originally came from the wild. It's not the species but how they are cared for. She is healthy and happy so there is nothing wrong.

The wild is a myth. There is a patchwork of national forests, the rest is being destroyed or gone. Tons more are kill each year by roads, dogs, power lines, hunting than kept as pets

  • Do their claws hurt?

  • @PETETHEMEAT42 Sometimes. Their claws are strong. They can learn to play gentle though.

  • what kind of dog is this???

  • where do you buy one? and what state do you live in?

  • holy crap he/she is too cute!

  • Oh wow, so cute

  • It looks like its strong as hell.

  • @unspokenrespect Yeah they are really strong.

  • Damn! that ant eater looks really buff! Seen those biceps man?

  • Omg, its Seth! :D

  • Where did u get the anteater

  • That thing is terrifying.

  • I just youtubed 'anteater' coz I wondered if they were as awesome as the many pictures I've found make them look. These little buggers are a million different kinds of cool. Do they make noise? I mean like.. a dog barks, a cat meows... do these guys (and girls of course) do anything?

  • @pleasuretrip

They are naturals at keeping bugs out of the house :)

  • @pleasuretrip They mostly make hisses and a kind of growl. They are able to make sort of chirping sounds but mostly just the babies do it.

  • sweet :)

  • Me: I'm bored....hmm... I'll search for anteater attack.

Youtube: SEARCH AND YOU SHALL FIND!

    Me: God bless!

  • @Berrylaff Exactly, I love being able to find stuff like this on youtube. And I love anteaters. However, if they pass that anti-piracy law that is in the works, say goodbye to youtube and half the internet...

  • Cool, I didn't know they could stand on two feet *-*

  • i want one dose it actually play with people than

  • @HAZBAZ1989 Yeah she plays with me but she's a momma's girl and rarely plays with anyone else.

  • @TamanduaGirl arent u from animal planet

  • @ImJosehh Yeah we've been on there a couple times.

  • So cool, lol he looks cute

  • Really fantastic to imagine having this as a pet. It seems feasible.

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!

  • THE TONGUE

  • had it ever make you pain by it's claws? cose cats do such often.

  • @thirdromeprivate Sometimes since tame they just kick with their back claws to try and get down when they don't want to be held but if threatened they can do damage with those front claws.

  • he looks bored in there

hes like get me out crazy lady

  • What does an anteater do in your house when you're not around? How's its behavior generally like? does it scratch? Questions go on..

  • @CreepyLizard She's good since she usually sleeps all day. She plays with me at night. The rescue girl Aurora will claw at the walls though if the food is not to her liking.

  • Anteater vs Cheetah!

  • why he called Anteater..?

  • @Noway778 cus it eats ants

  • OMG I WANT ONE SO MUCH

  • How were you able to keep her as a pet? ..How do you get an anteater as a pet? She is soooo cute!!

  • EBAY

  • @xoxTooCutexox You need to check your local laws for what is required. State, county and city all can have regulations.

  • I would hug that thing and carry him around

  • it looks so damn creepy when it´s standing on two legs

  • @TheWellyouknow Grow up...

  • i want to put it in a sweater

  • How do you get enough ants to feed her? They can eat thousands at a time. Other than going outside do you buy some from some where?

  • @napdaw I buy ants of the internet but the main diet is a beef based mix specially formulated to meet their nutritional requirements.

  • Do they have issues walking on hard surfaces with those massive claws?

Do they need wood things to climb on like what you have there

  • @clashbuster No they walk on the sides of their hands so they do have traction.

Yes they need things to climb on. They are semi-arboreal and like to get up high.

  • Holy shit, people have pet anteaters?

  • dude... why are u wearing an entire Tiger Suit???

    Furry wierdo...

  • @JukeBoxDesignsHD dude o.O for one thing she's not a dude. for another thing im pretty sure those are just like leopard print pj's or something. for a third thing alot of furries are actually really cool. so yeah, stick that in your juice box and suck it.

  • *.*

  • anteater are my fav animals :D abd there so cute!

  • What a loving friend you have ive known people with dogs they have had for years that don't have this bond.

  • 420 videos, nice.

  • Fuck you I'm an anteater lol

  • dude wtf is wrong with your cat

  • Hey this is adorable I have to admit. I am just kind of worried because these are not exactly common. You should look into introducing your anteater into a mating program, because just like you I think these things are adorable.

  • @Ialwaysratezero I think she's to spoiled to survive the sudden change but we have tried having males here with her. So far she hasn't liked any since Stewie.

  • @TamanduaGirl man she is so cute though im jelous

  • thats a nice dog you got there

  • Anteater in stewie voice: DAMN YOU SERVILE WOMAN, LET ME OUT OF THIS HELLHOLE!!

  • OMFG I WANT ONE

  • I WANT A ANT EATER!

  • where do u fine the ants to feed her,,,they eat like 20,000 a day...

  • @lac6480 she gets a beef based diet that is formulated to have the nutrients in the right amounts and ratios. I did buy her dried ants for treats.

  • that is the coolest pet ive ever seen

  • ?!?!

  • What does their tongue feel like? XD

  • @WarMasterX6 Hard to describe. It is stick because their saliva is sticky. It's usually soft but she can make it stiff too, like when cleaning my ears and poking my ear drum.

  • @TamanduaGirl sounds rather creepy XD but also cool

  • OMG this is craziest shit I've seen all day!

  • 2:00 looks like ALF

  • @dailyuser2012 LOL...

  • ...How does one go about acquiring an anteater? I had no idea people sold them or bred them or...how did you get yourd? I'd love to have one.

  • @ThornUvDaath777 First you need to check your state, county and city laws to see if it's legal. You may need a permit.

  • @TamanduaGirl

Thankyou. I'll get on it sometime. In the mean time, how did you get your anteater? I won't break the law, I pwomise :)

  • @ThornUvDaath777 I've had several from several different situations. A domestic born on is almost impossible to get unless you know someone and I'm not the one to know. Pua was a failure at wild living and I paid an importer to get her into the US for me legally.

  • @TamanduaGirl

Its been a while since I posted my questions, I've decided its better not to have one, as they simply demand too much, and I don't want it to have a terrible life. Plus the nocturnal thing makes it even more difficult. thankyou for answering anyway.

But I do think Pua is absolutely adorable, and maybe some day I'll meet someone who has one and they'll let me pet and play with it :)

  • @ThornUvDaath777 That's good. I don't remember the last time I got a solid nights sleep ;) but to me they are worth it. I know they are more than most people would want to deal with though.

  • @ThornUvDaath777 You want to acquire something? You're welcome, anything you want as long as you can pay for it. Since animals are no things, there aren't designed to be "acquired".

  • @LeoInterHyenaem

Animals are things, People are things. AnyTHING you can name is a thing.

  • How often do you take them on walks? Or do you even have to walk them at all?

  • @KendoSF13 I try to take Pua about once a week in the woods though in the summer I can let her out and follow her around the yard for a bit nightly.

  • @TamanduaGirl IfI saw an anteater out walking on my street, I'd freak the fuck out and scream bloody murder.

  • 2:05 : COME AT ME BRO

  • @xxxyowmaxxx 0:18 lool

  • dude, he gonna rip your eyes out jim.

  • I love anteaters and sloths!! You are the first person i have seen in such a long time responding to a lot of viewer comments. Thats awesome!! Did you buy that anteater or rescue her or find her..? She looks really happy. Do the claws hurt when she grabs? Sorry for all the questions its just you actually own one and know more about it than others! Thanks

  • @danielspage I bought her as I paid an importer to get her into the country for me and then to me. She was a failure at living wild though and needed a lot of work to get back to health. It's not easy doing it that way. It's not easy anyway as they are delicate keepers but not as hard if you get a domestic born baby. Here past mate was domestic born and was awesome but we lost him due to an auto-immune issue.

  • @danielspage She's good about her claws but does think it funny to pinch a little to hard sometimes. She pinches slowly harder till you squirm. She would only really get a person out of self defense but if that happens they can put a hole in you. Her claws are dull but she can sometimes give bruises but those are accidents. This same attitude isn't true of the vested ones, they have more aggressive tenancies.

  • @TamanduaGirl can they cuddle at all?

  • @MissHannahJanel Pua will cuddle with me and they like to play. Pua used to sleep with me but decided she like sleeping in her own space eventually.

  • @TamanduaGirl thank you for responding (: can you do a video possibly or message me on how to potty train them somehow? Thanks (:

  • @MissHannahJanel I put a pee pad where she likes to go but do encourage her to use one spot by giving her a treat for going there and when I had my store I took her out once a day and told her to go pee till she did then let her go back.

  • Pua: FUCK YOU IM AN ANTEATER!

  • did you put your fukcing anteater on a god damn diet? the fukc is wrong with you?

  • @goooober Um, no. She gets as much food as she wants she just begs for treats till I go to bed then she eats.

  • these things are so strange almost alien like

  • this is the coolest thing ever....

  • oh ok thank you sorry i thought it was a he :p its obviously a she srry :p

    i want 1 to

  • does it try to eat ants out of your nose in your sleep?

  • @mamushi72sai5575 No but sometimes she will try to flick her tongue up my nose when sniffing my breath and giving kisses. Ears are fair game too.

  • Can you like litter box train them? Or do you have to let them go outside like a dog. If you have to take them outside, how do you know they have to go? Like to they start walking in circles and stuff?

  • @pokemonfanatic123 Kind of. Pua is pretty good about using a pee pad but you could use dirt in a tray too. Pua just poops one a day or every other day. They tend to dribble some pee for marking purposes like rats do and can have accidents. Many often have bed wetting issues. Pua only wets the bed when she's in the washer or rarely wets mine if she's mad at me.

  • @pokemonfanatic123 PS I'd not let them outside as they can climb the fence easy. You could take them out on a lease but it's not the same as walking a dog.

  • wow... I want an anteater now... this video made me realize they are like dogs who can't bark and don't drool lol...

  • @T0rche Drool is rare but they do dribble pee as they run around sometimes.

  • Love your outfit. :)

  • @Iwonderwotsfordinner Thanks :)

  • what's all that on the blanket on top of the dryer??? is that poop???

  • @medicinemon No that's her food.

  • What a cutie! I'm subscribing. Thank you! This year was the first time I've seen an anteater. They are such extraordinary and yet intelligent creatures!

  • I love that movie... he is great !!!!!!

  • hey

she wantd to give u a kisss

  • how much is 1? i got a lot of ants in my house.. its crazy.. i need an anteater.. i use vinger baby poweder and keep my house clean as possible and there is still many freaking ants

  • I want one,so bad!

  • can u take it up like a baby when hes standing on 2 feet and whit his arms to you its realy adorable! i wanna have 1 and hug it and pick it up as a baby! cant u buy it on ebay? :p

  • @stijntje28 I can pick her up and hold her but only if she feels like letting me. Around the house is often okay but outside she squirms terribly to get down. She has better things to do. She used to sleep with me and snuggle inside my shirt till she was about 3.5 or so, after she lost her mate and found the washer to sleep in.

Only live things on ebay are fish.

  • well ummm...no problem with spiders?

  • @Ravengaurd6 They don't eat spiders. She did surprise me by eating a slug the other night though.

  • did you have to earn a license or permit to own that beautiful thing?

  • Did you get a lock installed on the fridge because your tams would break into it?

  • @freakonico Yes. If I forget to latch it or put the pin in sometimes Pua still opens it.

  • what an amazing looking animal!

  • I didnt know you could get ant eaters as pets, where do you buy there food? and isnt it a little wierdfor them to be pets. cool pet though :P

  • @InGameProductionz I mix it up myself. The recipe is designed to closely match the wild diet nutrients.

  • i have a question how and wear did u get pua

  • HEHEHE she is so silly! Love seeing her at play....

  • Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

  • Sorry, one last question, do they have a growl or bark?

  • @zebazebaeata They have a sort of dino growl and hiss to communicate. Check out my "Pua hates him" video to hear a really pissed off anteater. They are generally quiet critters though.

  • I was also wondering if their claws are dangerous, and what would someone have to do if someone had to bring an anteater to the vet, would a regular vet or emergency clinic know what to do?

  • @zebazebaeata you can file the nails to make them a little safer. A regular vet who wants to learn will be fine. It's more important to find a really good vet than an "exotic" vet. I tried the exotic vet and was not happy. My "Dog" vet is great and see's exotics. She will call zoos for info if needed.

  • this is AMAZING! anteaters are my absolute favorite animal! i would love to know everything about owning one. how much damage can one of these little guys do if they play to rough? i know they dont have any teeth, but their claws look viscous lol

  • @TheJessyWade I file Pua's nails but she can still give a wicked bruise if she gets worked up. If their claws are pointed then they can put a hole in you. Stewie put a hole through my thumbnail once when he missed a rug I was letting him play rough with and got me.

  • DO these make good pets Im interested.

I already have a sugar glider and she's happy , but what about an anteater

  • @sapfyreo They are a lot of work and worry. Google anteater acre sheet and anteater FAQ and that covers a lot of it.

  • awww cutest animal ever. Seems like a little human.

  • omg thats scary O.O

  • do they take a bath too?

  • @moneyinthebank14344 sometimes she will take a dip in the river on a hike if it's warm enough. I can bath her but she doesn't like it.

  • holy shit i want an anteater there so awesome !!! how did u get one!?!!?!!?

  • HA HA thats good to know....seriously had just read that and thought....are we gonna see something we just dont want to see?? LOL

  • have to admit kinda scary just read something about a anteater being able to disembowel a person with there claws with one swipe!! any truth in that?

  • @laisydaisy30 Yes but they are talking about giant anteaters.

  • what do ant eaters eat?

  • @ThunderFishVideos Ants termites and other insects. They are known to raid beehives and eat some fruit too. I make a special beef based diet that closely matched the nutrients they get from their wild diet.

  • can you have them as pets if so how and where?

  • @markdukes13 The laws very by state, county and city.

  • I like your jammies :)

  • LOVE IT! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE!

  • LOVE IT! WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE MYSELF

  • i love ur videos! lol!! i want one haha

  • Aww. :)

How intelligent are they? They seem kind of "slow" but that's probably just because of their movement speed. Im used to a beagle, so this is different! Anyways, what is it like living with one? SHe seems smart!

  • @mappoprimo Yeah they move slow most of the time but are very smart. They learned to open the fridge to get what they want and things like that. Pua pulls a rope up to get a treat on the end.

  • @TamanduaGirl THATS AWESOME! Best of luck with him! I hope he lives a long happy life with you :)

  • that thing is ugly as fuck you should just shoot it

  • @llHyRaXll you're ugly as fuck, we should just shoot you. asshole.

  • kinda cute but creepy the way it moves

  • Aww... How cute, does she bite?

  • @uzerofutube They have no teeth but their claws are powerful.

  • Wow, that thing is dangerous!!! That's why they say wild animals don't make good pets!!! LOL

  • I WANT ONE!!

  • How expensive is she to keep? Is insurance any more or less than a cat or a dog?

  • @TheGMaster111 I'm not sure if you mean liability or vet insurance but it would cost more for either. Food might be about $50 a month for one but vet care is expensive when needed.

  • will it eat things off ur hands. and if it does does it tickle?

  • @pokemonfanatic123 Yes she will lick my hands. My hands aren't ticklish but I guess a person might describe it that way.

  • but... but i'm still hungry! RAWR!

  • really cool i heard the nails are very sharp and could slash someone open easily but this one seems more docile.

  • Lol god this is sooo cute :P makes me want one lol

  • Does it love you?

  • @cdavidaa Yes. I also have a video titled "anteater love"

  • disgustin

  • He just wants a hug! hahaha
