The neighbors friendly medium sized dog tried to chase my Maine Coon and Maxy just stood his ground and stared at him! Now the dog just ignores Maxy, it is the funniest thing! Max thinks he is a dog so why would he run?
@Darkdashing we had a german shepard that would put his entire mouth around the cats head - and she would just sit there. Her head would be totally wet and he then would clean her head off. The cat was super good-natured so it was really cute (and gross) to watch.
I'm freaked out! We have a shepard mix,Seda and a maine coon,Lotto, that do EXACTLY the same thing!! The dog loves it and bugs him until he gets his lovin'. Been trying to get them on video but never have the camera at the right time. This could be them. Except the dog is slightly darker. Really weird!
is this true 2 things are bothering me some told me tht male cats spray even if they have bin spayed and if my maine coon is a house cat ill have to trim his nails every 2 weeks
USMI (urinary sphincter mechanism incontinence) is a condition Gerdie was born with. The brain cannot tell the body to "hold it in", and so she has to wear a diaper at times, and may have to for the rest of her life. She had surgery to correct internal deformities (i.e. a shrunken, squashed bladder) and I hope that as she matures, she'll get better & better. A calm home with a mom that loves her seems to make all the difference, as does eating a natural diet & having me home all the time.
