lol, thank god i was in new york when this happened.. I live really close to where t touched down but my house was fine. We found so random debree and shit in my back yard and in my pool but other than that it was good. I heard that 120 houses in the maple/woodbridge area had their roofs blown off and one kid died from debree. It wasnt that bad but it was the first tornado in a really long time. very unexpected!

Tornados are extremely local.

Even if a tornado came down on your street...it could be your house perfectly fine then the next house beside you in complete ruin..(not exaggerating)

..Also..the issue tornado warnings along the path of the cell where rotation is occuring..because you know a 200km wide tornado just aint gunna happen>_>...:P

the storms that hit southern and northern ontario today were very severe and spawned many, many tornado's.

I work in North York, and got home to Barrie just as the storms were hitting my area, I'm glad I didnt get stuck in traffic, the clouds were so dark and distinct shelf clouds appeared on my way home along Green Line to hwy 9, to the 400.

I have to say, when they were talking about a little rain, I bet they didn't see this coming.
