Tom Baker was the best Doctor ever. The new guys are okay but they don't really sell me they are the Dr. But like I said, they are okay. Tom had some silly stories but by and large they were excellent. Real science fiction stories. Not the stupid soap opera crap that is currently running on Dr Who.

I remember they re-ran all of these, and I watched it from the 2nd piece of the key to the last. It was really good =) Tom Baker was fantastic as the Doctor.

i wish the makers of Smallville had seen this. Maybe woulda stopped them making the season where the entire focus was Clark looking for pieces of a kryptonian relic. Was boring as hell. Tom Baker knows how t do it right.

I'd like to say that the first 3 seasons had decent arcs, but the bad Smallville seasons far outweigh the goods ones so I guess what's the point? :p

I have the video of this it is nice to watch, as tom clearly loved his time as the doctor

and he is passing that enjoyment on to us.Tom will always be a great dr as he was the first one i watched.I loved Dr who the first time i watched it in 1975 and i always will.

These were pretty good documentarys. Its a shame they didn't do one for Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy. Wonder if these will ever be released on DVD?

I agree with you there! Surely it would have been the more logical thing to do then having ones for the late, great Hartnell and Troughton, given that most of their episodes don't exist in the archives, and they wouldnt have their own personal reactions to the clips, given hat they had the notable handicapp of being dead!
