  • How did u lower the van

  • may i ask how you fitted nitro to a diesel engine

  • may i ask how you fitted nitro to a diesel engine

  • HI mate, is this still on the standard turbo? if so what pressure is it running? nice build though :)

  • top class

  • them tyres look like car tyres?

U havent fitted car tyres to a van have u?! if u have dont crash because van tyres require extra reinforcing by law, so they invalidate insurance etc.

Bugger really as the choice is limited.

  • @tpvalley hi bud.....i was using extra load commercial tyres low profile now on 18" ford alloys with the same extra loads

  • @tpvalley hi bud.....i was using extra load commercial tyres low profile now on 18" ford alloys with the same extra loads

  • i like i like i have a 350bhp cossie transit go on the transit

  • @1mkrs cool van you got have you some more videos?

  • @nitrotransitman ya but not of the van i am doing it all up i have lots of vid of a avo mk1 escort

  • Chuck Norris has a Transit just like this

  • you must have a lot of spare cash

  • how muh did the build cost in total?

  • I shouldn't have watched this!!!!!!!!.......... What an awesome transit, great colour choice

off to pistonheads website to look at getting another van now just for me not work ;-)

  • nitro- hehehe!...saw some comment saying you ought to get a sports car.... this is the whole point. I've had old Volvo 740 Turbo estates, a rusty old Saab 900 turbo.. a bit of of tinkering equals a whole lot of fun at the traffic lights.... there's no greater shame than being trounced by an old git in a shit car. I've got a shiny and boring Mondeo TDCi ( chipped of course! ) - but Im on the look out for a piece of ebay crap with potential.

Great van - keep it up.

  • 1) You are a complete and utter NUTTER. :D

    2) This music is fucking ace!

  • Why didn't you place a bigger or twin turbo setup, with custom software? NOS is gay.You allready placed a bigger intercooler, so the bigger turbie would be no problem.

  • @barthoedemaker it will have alot of turbo lag if he does that. I don't know anything about transits, but my focus tdci has virtually no turbo lag at all, the power comes in at 1500rpm up to 4500.

  • @godjp821 depends on turbo size, but turbo lag can be eliminated by using a twin turbo setup ( 2 small ones )

  • @barthoedemaker if you were going to use twin turbos you would do it like a skyline a small and a big turbo. the small one spins up at lower rpm and helps kickstart the big one and reduces lag.

  • @mrdangerous667

that is compound turboing, many other twin turbo applications have 2 of the same size (in fact I thought skyline did?) like supras as the smaller the turbo the less the lag for a given app. so 2 smaller ones delivering same air as a large one still have advantages.

  • Nice to see quality workmanship - top job!

  • @davidrobert2007 thankyou pal

  • now i would like to the queen, take it round the ring, bet she could do in under 10 mins then

  • @racedemon89

i have been working with some of the best engineers/mechanics in england for the past 3 years, learning the basics to full on custome turbo charging, to cam lobe design. and if you new any thing about a diesel engine you would understand that there are huge gains to be had with these engines. for example we had a s-max remaped with decat system, from 236 lb ft to 360 lbft. from just shafting point of ignition, and the psi of the injector....it is all very simple. and is easy done.

  • @racedemon89

    jealousy is a terrible thing

  • Un vero mostro. Mitico Ford Transit... che velocità raggiunge l'esemplare in questione? Se già supera i 165 km/h tachimetrici il 100 CV... questo vola!

  • nice van

  • @51lakey thanks pal

  • Ignore the know nothing comments here mate, they obviously know very little. Top job mate, super impressed I love seeing Trannies get the treatment they deserve!!!

  • @volvoturboman yeah some people have no idea!

  • Was/Is this van from Nelson, Lancashire? If it is then I've seen it going in the past. It's a rocket!

  • @RobCooney88 yes it is.

  • @RobCooney88 yeah thats the one

  • found awesome ford transit van with Van Trader

  • The van is the Dogz Mate good job well done!!

  • nice tool ,good paint ,not my favorate transit but still a cool steath van allthe same

  • nice van mate i hope to do something like that myself when i can afford it thanks for the inspiration

  • love it, but how come the vid goes on so long after the film is done?

  • mint

  • never mind carrying wood, its given me wood

  • never mind carrying wood, its given me wood ;-D

  • thts fuckin nice tbh ;)

  • how nice would it be to drive cargo with this car :D

  • Comment removed

  • @FishbarCorporation cheers pal

  • respect to you bruv, that is a murky transit

  • Nice idea, very different.

Might I suggest though a proper remap by someone like celtic, and more power can be had, and put the standard air box back on it, all you're doing is destroying the engine faster and I dare say the new filter is a lot smaller by the looks of it

  • @jarrus464 yeah a custom map will help i agree but as from now im not racing as its now a camper! i agree about the filter but i like the sound of the air being sucked in!

  • @nitrotransitman fair enough,

LPG is a good power adder on diesels as well, but the trick is getting it to work with the nitrous, that will take a very good tuner.... but it has been done before...

  • Lovely tranny mate, congrats, was it a FWD or RWD one of out interest ?

  • @PhantomMark cheers pal its fwd

  • 5:54 was the best part!

  • @thesparewheel glad you like some of it

  • cracking job, im amazed you got it up to 235bhp it must have what 400nm of torque,

    is it reliable

  • @rs200000000000 the last dyno was 440nm it has been up until i tried to change the leaky injectors yes!

  • @nitrotransitman im suprised you havent blown the head gasket

  • @nitrotransitman so you got it running again then? Didn't you post up on the forum that you were having problems with it? I'd be interested to know how much you spent and where the nitrous was fitted...

  • this transit is shit hot mate. well done :D

  • @traynoro1 thankyou

  • nos in a tranny - u crazy bastard!! seriously nice van

  • Fantastic, I cant believe how much power could be extracted from that engine, and how it left the cossie transit for dead!

  • I wanna know how you lowered her?? cause I cant find anyone that can do it, apart from hydraulics!! so give us a hint please!!

  • I wonder what happened the first corner he came in too fast, and he finds out, the shocks and breaks are still standard :)

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhh

  • your van is great ,i just love it ,my van is 51 mwb/mr [ i'm converting to camper,] 100bhp and used as my main transport [her indoors has new seat altea diesel what did you gain by fitting the superchip and how much did it cost ?

  • 1st mistake, 0.35 - no point injecting too much diesel to give black smoke as it isn't being used. 2nd mistake at 0.44, the standard air filter has a bigger surface area and allows more air to pass than ever required, it also filters. The pipes create a vaccum to increase airflow. You have DECREASED POWER. So 140BHP isn't too bad. 235 is rubbish.

  • Nice!

  • The best van EVER!

  • bet that gives people a shock off the lights!

  • I WANT ONE!! Beats the usual washing machine sounding white fridges you normally see!

Glad to see someone with a dream carrying it out, good on ya pal!

  • crap

  • still looks shit

  • Brilliant Vid!! Nice van! How much did the paint job cost?

  • just throwing it out there but, its a van. Why would you do that to a VAN. its not a sporty thing any way you cut it.

  • cars are done to death, no one expects this van to paste them at the lights and that gives me a real buzz! i dont want to follow the pack

  • @nitrotransitman LOL then pastes you on the bends, cant have it all though.

  • Nicely put together car and video.

  • why thankyou

  • hi how did you lower your van i want to do the same to my transit

  • long job.........custom front springs and relocating the rear wheel hubs in the axle 6" higher give a lowering impression

  • that shit is mad but a good mad skippy below dosent know shit yje tosser

  • Come on mate, i wasnt on about the transit! I was talking about the comment made by gailardiar!

  • beautuiful! if thats how u spell it!

  • cheers pal

  • American i assume?? Remember this guy only had 2000cc to play with. Whats yours then?......... Cock!

  • notice the van is right hand drive i would say hes British

  • I was commenting on what gailardiar said a while ago, it appears to have dissapeared now though. This transit is great.

  • thanks mate

  • You are a tool how big is your engine it's probably massively underpowered for it's size. And your truck probably weighs shitloads more than a transit you are a fool!

  • Is this the transit from Nelson, Lancashire because if it is it sounds like a beast !

  • yeah pal!

  • @nitrotransitman , nice van man lol , huge power from a diesel lump , is it running enough psi to need that intercooler

  • @jimikestell1

Intercooler can drop charge temps ALOT and a FMIC can make up to 7bhp, weather it gives power or not though, it's a good idea [no matter what boost your running] because hot charge air melts pistons etcetc, remember the inlet air is hot because the tubine housing is hot. Colder air is denser, you can put more into the cylinder, and therefore more petrol.

  • @LIP15 oh yes!

  • @jimikestell1 all i know is it genuinely made a difference i would guess 20 bhp

  • nice work, i hope you waxoyled it, the members under the floor on some 02, 03,04 and even 05s are getting quite rusty already

  • its crazyyyyyyyyy !

  • your mad. brilliant but mad :D

  • for 2012 ford are suppose to be making a new transit with a factory fitted (stantard) 280bhp engine, my brother in law has got a 200 T350 and it pulls like a train its unreal

  • i hope so pal...

  • fair play to you mate you got more balls than i would have lovely wagon

  • wow if only i had this guys money... what a joke put all that into a van to get 235 hp...

  • Maybe just cut the video to 4 minutes?! However loving the diesel power fella :) What NOS kit is it? Progressive? How much bhp is that adding?

  • Your My Idol Btw, Iv Watched This A Good Few Times. Makes Me Look On Ebay And Alike Everytime, They Look At My Bank And Realise Im Livin A Dream :( Unemployed Sucks

  • im doing research on installing recaros in the front of my transit, did yours just fit in on the original rails or? cheers

  • Comment removed

  • You should customise the interior. Put some nice entertainment system in there.

  • Nicest van ever.

  • transits i luv aswell but im 16 and ill never hav a van for my first car ive drove it before there nufin special cars a better i think :D

  • ill beleive you got 235bhp out of it when i see a dyno, 5-10hp from the intercooler (good mod), 60bhp shot of nitrous with extra fuel added by the remap (good mod), i guess so thatll boost it, 2bhp from the filter, de-cat maybe 3bhp if your lucky and are really smarter than fords £1million research and developement team).

how much power do stickers add?

  • @racedemon89 totally agree!!!!

  • @racedemon89

A simple remap with no other mods will see around 160/170bhp, experience with BMW diesel tuning in the past with a custom remap and intercooler mod you can gain up to 15 to 30bhp from the intercooler, having the remap continually evolve with ALL the bits you bolt on is they key, else they are worthless as standalones. Do you not thinkg a decent remap and nitro alone would be possible to see 230 then ? (i dont know how much nitro is worth using your figures)

  • @racedemon89 then take into consideration the superchip which add's 30% power to the engine it's fitted on give3's at very least 32 bhp so add the 125 standard (which in most cases an understatement) + ur nos, 50-75bhp, then u add the exhaust system good for upto around 10bhp, and air filter maybe 7 or more, add l those number's 2g4 and what u get? at least 220BHP why u dont u go grab the key's for ur granny's Austin Metro, and drive ursel into a river! Jealousy get's u nowhere mate!

  • @racedemon89 considering ford make them for builders ect im sure they didnt bother to think yes thats do that to a transit

  • @racedemon89 Ford tune for reliability and fuel economy you nonce. Power has nothing to do with it.

  • @racedemon89 How much power do the stickers add? Dont be a dick, he didnt put the stickers on there like boy racers do, he obviously wants to promote his company, it is a van after all. And as for your performance figures, gaining only 3 hp from an exhaust mod on a Turbo Diesel engine is a daft thing to say, you would see much better gains than that.

  • @racedemon89 add it up racedemon.....................125ps as standard this was 131bhp on rolling road as you should know bhp figures are slightly higher than ps manufacturers quote.

so....131 bhp add 60 nitros = 191bhp add decat and intercooler 13bhp = 204bhp add remap 30bhp = 234 bhp not so unbelievable really is it! and im not cleverer than fords research team

  • Very nice mod, my friend,

luvin the new custom paint job, Excellent

im only 15 i want a transit same model as yours, been brought up round em so just lv em basically.

  • yeh me too! and a million others

  • im learning to drive and i want a transit are they a good van

  • lovely van!! bet your never late for work!!!lol.

  • cheers for the positive comments!

  • thanks for your comments pal...lowering is very hard but you basically modify the rear beam to take the hub in a higher place and therefore lower the van!

  • See, i wanna lower my Mk3 Golf GTD, but keep the cost low too.

  • cant u just lower springs/ shorter springs or if leaf make lowering blocks?

    Whats a vr6 gearbox?

  • yeah u can sort front springs out fairly easy but the rear springs on the front wheel drive tranny have almost no camber so block or other mods dont work, a vr6 gearbox came out of the sharan vr6 and the insides were put into the transit casing

  • what does wheel camber have to do with blocks spacing axle away from springs?

  • na not wheel camber, the bend in the rear leafs (camber) they are almost flat and because of the rear axle etc you cant use blocks...have a look at one you will see what i mean

  • So is there simply not enough space between axle and chassis once the axle has been blocked up?

Im not questioning ur expertise btw, just wondering!

  • Its great when you overtake in a diesel, you get smoke behind and others are like WTF?

Love the ST in the grill

How did you manage to lower that?

Can i have your registeration so i know not to mess with that van at the lights. haha

  • What seats have you fitted?

    Thanks

  • not sure of the model but they are momo pal

  • is it wrong tht a 17 year old wants one of these? and wid take a transit over a lambo :D(H)?

  • trust me m8 im 15 and ive always wanted a transit lv em loads, want to modify just like this one buh obv different

cant wait till i can drive.

  • very nice ;-)

  • ta mate

  • VERY NICE!! just shows what a diesel is capable of and they are perfect for nitrous, i remember watching top gear , honda NSX vs standard golf diesel with nitrous fitted and it left the NSX in its wake that was an eye opener. its just the sound that i dont like although a v6 diesel sounds good:)

  • 235bhp is pretty good but the van is heavier than a normal car so if i had to do it i eould give it some throttle bodies and an uprated turbo

and i think that for me rwd would be better cus i like to burn rubber

do you have any subwoofers or aomthing like that in the van cus with an emty space like that in the back it would be rude tonot give a sub and an amp

  • what is the name of this song?

    Sounds so good!!!

  • its by ian van dal called nights on java m8

  • Im curious to know what your name means FT29V6 , the reason I ask is that back in 1991 we used to have several Transit 190s ( these were the old twin wheelers back then ) with standard factory 2.9L V6 petrol engines. They were excellent vans and easily out performed many fast cars . We currently run various vans and trucks including several USA ones. All the Transits ive seen lately are diesels and Ive lost touch with them. Do they even offer petrol engine options anymore, and if so what ? V6?

  • I love it! You're bloody nuts! Looks like a right hoot!

    Cool music also!

  • ta mate....

  • Thats Gorgeous! How Much Did You Spend Total? You Probably Said In Th Vid But Cba Lookin Through It All

  • ah cant say mate lol

  • haha incase th wife sees this?

  • Then his wife would probably spend a little to get a shotgun and kill him! :P

  • if he gets away in this van she wouldn' t cach him

  • Comment removed

  • hi nitrotransitman did u do a step by step on this in the transit forum i would like to read it , i got a 100 t260 and was thinking of getting some more power out of it, love your van btw m8

  • cheers mate...nah i dint do a step by step and some of the mods i didnt get time to document..good luck wi yours

  • fancy takin my 1999 2.5 swb 80 pls cash for it??? hahaha no?? why ever not!! lol sweet van mate!!!

  • lol....your very funny! ta bud

  • When you say 'crazy things started happening' what mods did you do there?

Also - i saw your van parked up in Nelson last year! yaaay what prize do i get? haha

  • ha ha....no prizes for the spot mate not yet any how......well i thought nitros injection and plastic rally style glass were crazy?

  • haha crazy to say the least.

Did your cone filter do anything for performance? I think I might slap one on my transit for a laugh. Can't exactly make it any slower, might as well walk!

Have you ever fancied getting hold of an ex- RAC van? Same small dimensions as your van, except rear wheel drive (for wet roundabouts) and come in 2.4 like the bigger vans. I'll bet their nippy as fuck!!!! And if crazy guys like yourself got one it'd probably be a supercar eater.

  • the cone filter did help but only as part of the bigger intercooler/remap/niros set up but it does sound really well! the rear wheel drive ex rac is heavier and the rear wheels just spin with lots of power so doin mods on those are less effective

  • oh dear! looks like you havent watched the full video before you chose 2 make such a silly comment, obviously ya dont know what a powerflow exhaust is?im sure they will be interested to hear their full stainless decat exhaust is a(botch) and im guessing you dont know what nitros is?you must of missed that rather large intercooler on the front(its silver colour and looks like a radiator)you say you like anything to do with cars are they matchbox or corgi cos you obviously no naff about real ones

  • so youve got another 110hp from an air filter botched exhaust and a remap, yeah any my 125 puts out 100hp cus ive got a K&N lmao

  • hahaha racedemon you get your ideas on mods from watchin fast and furious!!! lol

this van kicks ass! trust me i should know ;-)

  • on the contrary, i dont beleive an exhaust, filter and shot of nitrous will give you 110bhp.ive got an nvq l3 in motorvehicle mecanics and tech and another in engineering, the guy whos bragging about his van obviously does though, i thought "nitros" wer in crashs bandicoot?, unless its ricer talk for nitrous. ive rolled exhausts but i dont say it gives a million hp, and id hate to put a 100shot onto a standard internals engine, and im the one meant to know nothing about cars?

  • NVQ in mechanics and your braggin HAHAHAHAHAHA

some people get out there and do it (nitrotranistman) where as some people sit at home critisising others on you tube - that would be you ;-)

  • cheers ft29v6! this guy obvoiusly cant grasp what i have done and has a lot to learn yet! however i am laughing a lot right now so racedemon i thank you! he he

  • great job mate, looks good, ive got a tdci125...see yer at the lights, lol

  • this is great.....how much did it cost you in total?...

  • far too much to tell matey

  • whats that for an musik?

  • i dont speak german.....but i think you mean what is the music? its ian van dal best of cd

  • have you found any more power here?

  • no i dont wanna push it any further on the standard engine

  • how did you modify the rear springs to get that low

  • keep the springs and shocks just as they are.....then cut into the rear axle at either end insert/weld a steel block into the axle and refit hubs higher up on this block...this gives the effect of lowering and keeps all the weight capacity etc as standard

  • well thats fast and prctical i coult do with something like that wot sort of torque has it got?

  • it was 440nm? or ft l/bs before the nitros and big intercooler went on so no idea what it is now

  • your mad! In a nice way. :)

  • dude you are an actual legend! haha Is this beast rear wheel drive?

I have a lwb mk6 transit. Chipped so far to 140 BHP. But fuck me, its slow! haha I'd love to put a bigger turbo on from a transit jumbo or something but the cost of everything else and the insurance would be mindblowing.

Im glad to see you've put your heart into this project though,

good luck in the future with this!

  • nah its fwd mate...thanks for the positive comments

  • The Diesel Engines are the best for getting better milage and the Chips/Tuners make instant HP Gains. The van is about 320 HP the way it is now. The Engine is made by International and they use the same engine in large UPS Trucks etc. The nitro in the Van is what Blew your Turbo, the Tuner/Chips will not blow the Turbo on the lower settings. Methanol Injection is a safer way to go, helps you get more MPG/MPL. Diesel is 2.35 a Gallon USA in Florida right now. Cheers.

  • I have the 2000 Ford E350 SD PSD PowerStroke 7.3L 445ci. TurboDiesel.
