  • I would have jumped in the pool and rode those waves like a boss

  • should have put some dubstep on in background would look AWESOME

  • THAT WOULD BE SOOO COOL TO BE IN THAT POOL WHEN THAT HAPPENED!!!

  • People are reacting. The woman changes direction and the guys in the upper left unit come out of the sliding glass door and jump over a two foot wall to get out of the building. As for earthquakes, uoi have to understand that locals experience them daily. There was one 6 hours ago just 3 miles or so from my house, although it was small. There have been 19 since the beginning of the year. Most of them we don't feel.

  • why arnt the people reacting coz if that was me i would be lieing on the floor freaking out

  • Guys, this isn't fake. We actually had a big earthquake on the 15th of October 2006. Hawaii has many earthquakes, so this was like nothing to us.

  • this isnt an earthquake.just my subs shaking hell.silly people:)

  • this earthquake was so scary...

  • this is fake cause their is no reaction in the people in the back :l

  • @Nashy2277 Sorry, but it is not fake. This security camera caught the 6.8 earthquake as it hit here in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. These same security cameras captured the recent tsunami waves we had also.

There is one woman in the back who is walking and changes her direction then stops as the quake hits. The people in the lower unit in the "A" building jump over the rock wall and stand on the beach.

  • man when the earthquake hit maui you wouldnt believe how cool the ground look passing over a speedbump....

  • fake

  • 0:16 look theres a man at the backround who is trying to be an earthquake

  • @ThePikuxx Retard

  • Meu Deus!! È inacreditável ver tudo isso!!

  • The wave patterns in the pool are very intriguing, but I'm also interested in how much the plants move, especially the areca palm on the far right.

  • ERROR, pool.jpg has gone insane and imploded into a black hole. Luckily there was no one in it

  • k, when a pool shakes the earth quake is were or very near were you live when every thing splashes around its very far away but close enough to make a wave like motion.

    keep that in mind

  • that looked more like an underground explotion not an earth quake..

  • i was there surfing at rivieares it was a trip

  • jakusi !

  • I had been looking for a good video showing an earthquake-induced seiche in a swimming pool for quite a while before I found this video. The seiches can been seen at the very beginning of the video, which is when the quake hit, but dissipate quickly as the waves hit the irregular sides of the pool creating chaotic interference. Nevertheless, I was quite pleased to see this unique phenomenon to be posted on Youtube. Many thanks!

  • neat but scary :D

  • Thats awesome.
