My Uncle is buried in Agira, Sicily. A Sargeant in the Saskatoon Light Infantry, I know little about him, other than he succumbed to shrapnel wounds on July 20, 1943. My guess is that he was on way to Mt. Etna, which the Canadians helped to overtake on July 28th.
