animating tutorial

Hey just a tip, when you import the frames into WMM, before you drag the files onto the timeline or storyboard, click onto Tools, then Options, then click on the Advanced tab, you can set the Time Duration for each frame. I set mine to the minimum, 0.125 of a second. Then whatever pictures you drag to the timeline, last this long. It just saves helluva lot of time, especially if you have several frames. Great videos btw :)

The first one is a sad song but also used for the opening the opening sounds kind of different though the second is is used for the ending for credits... the third song... well i have no idea wat it is...

well i draw mine out with a regular paint tool then use flood fill.

i apply this method to each of the frames.

One advice to people animating, when you work with animations and you make hard draft, DO THE HARD DRAFT FIRST! THEN the outlining and THEN the coloring, took me a while to relize this XD

So I can use photoshop to make each clip, then use moviemaker? I always thought I had to use photoshop and flash. Question though, if I wanted to add a background to the animation as well, do I paste the same background over and over to each clip? and how would I make the background move to the side, like if my animation was running or something?

I have Adobe photo shop, but it doesnt let me upload videos onto Windows Movie Maker, so I use paint. But I dont think Microsoft paint will let me do all of that technical stuff. Could you maybe try and help me with trying to find out how to do that but for microsoft paint? Thanks so much! I love your animations ^.^

You need to lock the transparenct on each of the layers and then paint over the whole thing in black; it should only do the lineart. =)

Thats not a dumb question. The programs used are, Paint shop pro for the pictures and windows movie maker for putting the frames together.

i got mine from office depot but you can download it alot cheaper of there coral website,ide suggest trying a free tutt first so you can get a feel to it^^ at first it seems like a pain in the butt but through time yo get use to it.
