  • In DoTa Abby is BloodSeeker

    In HoN Abby is BloodHunter

In Let Me In Abby is Vampire

In real life, She's so damn perfect :)

  • Why would Owen call Abby evil? Abby kills because it's the only way for her to live.

  • and that is something that OSCAR would never say :P

having watched both versions (unfortunately the remake first), i have to say that one of the main differences between the 2 films is that owen is presented as a plain scared-sensitive-weak boy who just seeks love while oscar is definately more than that. i mean oscar is obviously a freak, a bit twisted and gives the impression of having a mysterious relationship with pain and fear.

LTROI all the way! more realistic, sharper and less polished

  • @removemybrain 'OS"K"AR ;)

  • His socks and shoes are so girly....yet cute!! Hes a really good actor to bad this was his only american fim he should do more!!! You here me kid do more american films your really good at it!!! The movies you do in australlia arent as famous as the ones in america!! I think?Do more american films!!!

  • @ThisGirlsLife21 you really like him :P

  • Acting is superb, remake could have been a lot worse, really! It was, nonetheless, reasonably intelligent and restrained. The shots were great, but yes, I agree: the original is a visceral, palpable film feast...it lingers long after. Still, the shots in this are good, the pace snappy, the dialogue opaque, subtle....overall, I felt that had Sam Raimi done it, it would have been needlessly over-the-top...I still enjoyed Let Me In, though. The pool scene is badasss, and the play on bullying great!

  • they decided not to add owen visiting his father and found out he was gay.

  • u lie.that is in let the right one in.not in let me in.

  • @nenodox if u've seen the movie yeah its in there

  • @nenodox same type of part from both

  • I LIKE THIS VERSION TOO, BUT WHAT IS MISSED IT IS JUST SOME SHORT SCENES, FOR EXaMPLE" WHEN THE KID GET IN THE GIRLS APPARTAMENT AND HE SEES THAT EVERYRHING IS A MESS, HE ASK HER " R U POOR? AND SHE SHOW HIM A WIERD DEVICE (LIKE A PUZZLE) ANS SHE SAYS" IF U SELL THIS, U CAN BUY A NUCLEAR PLAN. THAT PRRETY COOL, BECAUSE IT EXPLAINS HOW IS POSSIBLE A GIRL AND BOY CAN TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD BY THEMSELF ;)

  • THE ORIGINAL IS WAY BETTER, because has more information wich gives more sense to the movie

  • @damianreaven too much information is annoying

  • @damianreaven thank you, i commented on the movie let the right on in, and i said this is better, and someone said im brain dead and people are dumb, hes a douche

  • i believe in evil.... there are some evil kids at my school

  • Well I believe in Evil... not like magica evill fairy kid stuff but like Vampires could be real. You never know

  • @Zwinky18213 flying pigs too :)

  • have both versions

  • @supermanfan62 "Let the Right One In" is so much more better to me.

  • I prefer the original movie ----> let the right in MUuUUUUUUch better~~

  • Why can't people just like both? They are actually both good movies, and even for different reasons. The story deserves the exposure, in my opinion.

  • for those saying that they don't want to read subtitles, the movies actually been dubbed in english, its just a crappy dub. foreign film have always been difficult to market. this movie is a retelling of the same story set to our culture. the us is not the only country that does it. if you dont belive me then look up bollywood remakes.

  • Yes, because you can totally tell it's shit by watching 30 seconds of the movie. You're definitely the ignorant one.

  • love it just love it

  • I thought it would be better hearing the director being so lyrical in interviews about both the original movie and the book.

The pacing is so off in this version. Beginning the movie in medias res, ruined the buildup that was so great in the original. :S

  • What is everyone even complaining about? I personally have never seen the first movie, nor did I even know about it until now. I don't know how this holds up to the original, but by itself, it is a really great film. It touched me in a way I haven't been touched by a movie in a long time. These days all we've been getting is BS shoved down our throats. This was refreshing to see. I didn't care too much about the vampire element of the story as I did for the relationship that the kids had.

  • u should need to let her in or else she will let u DIE!

  • hmmm i don't think this is as good as the original. I love the Swedish one with subtitles.

  • I'm american and watched the original version. Sadly, it didn't have subtitles and was dubbed. Watching it was awkward. Also, subbed movies make me feel like I might be missing pieces of the actual dialogue. I don't have anything against swedish culture, since most of the exchange students I know are swedish. probably the original reason I wanted to watch a swedish movie. people should stop accusing others of not being cultural because they want to see a remake, it's immature.

  • oooo....suspension

  • this movie was so raw, cute, and romantic on so many levels. The acting from those two kids were AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to buy the dvd and watch it over and over lol......it was phenomenal!!!

  • its like do you think such evil NO (ganon voice) XD

  • this movie is amazing:)

  • emmagash is a true dirtbag

  • @millydoom9twilight9 The kid asked to his dad: ''Is there such a thing as evil?'' He could menchoned that theres a girl at the same age as him who kills inesent people. Just my option! :)

  • tell me about this shit because one day bam she humps you and kills you

  • Does Abby or Owen die in the movie???

  • He will say! EVIL! EVIL UNDEAD! THE ONE LITTLE GIRL AT THE SAME AGE AS ME TRIES TO KILL ME!

  • @halofan676 what are you talking about?

  • tododunet who the fck cares if it's a "remake"? see it as itself

  • is the kid in this one the same boy that was in " The Road"?

  • @kaptainkruncheats Yes. The very same one. Kodi Smit-mcphee

  • @kaptainkruncheats

    I was thinking that too!

  • i reealy wont to see this one >:I is it going on teathers!?

  • Ok, this movie is a giant copy of the oldest version "Let the right one in". The actors in this movie are very good (nothing to say) but I find the same lyrics in lot of scenes. I hope that it's not a blockbuster because for a copy, it's really medium....

It misses originality... It's just a copy !

This movie will not be rewarded because all people can do it.

  • @totodunet Way to be ignorant. Let Me In is a remake of Let The Right One In, not a "copy." The author of the original source material (as in, the novel), John Ajvide Lindqvist, also wrote the screenplay for this film as well as the Swedish version. It's not supposed to be original because it's an English-language version of a film which already exists. That doesn't mean it doesn't still have artistic merit and the potential to be a good film as well as a fresh take on the story.

  • @emmagawsh And ? I know, but the oldest version is only 2 years. Fortunately that "Let Me In" has a different scenario otherwise it would be useless. I found that John Lindqvist, the director, Matt Reeves and the Production teams didn't meditate too much to realize this movie because it's too easy. Besides the shooting of movie lasted just a month in Los Alamos. The scenario was already largely made. A great part of "Let The Right One In" was recopied.

  • @FilthyVirus I would.. I love foreign films..most I think are better than any original American films. And fuck u btw..that's not true for most Americans. What fucking country are u from cunt , huh?? Let's make uneducated fucking stereotypes about ur country!! I'm ready are u!?!!? Come find me when u decide to apologize or not be such an ignorant pussy!!! Bitch........filthy virus is right..hope u dnt infect other or ur little family !!

  • @BadAnglzBite6988 No really! What the FUCK is the reason to remake a perfectly good film, into an EXACT english COPY, if not for the fact that the MAJORITY (not all) of -ignorant- americans are so biased and xenophobic, that they would never accept watching a movie in a foreign language?????

  • @FilthyVirus

    PFFFFT.

It's ignorant tards like you that make me lul :)

  • @FilthyVirus Get bent asshole.

P.S. the remake is so much better its not even funny. i've seen both films and read the book.

so suck it. your racist bastard.

  • @GrimmRebellion Being called a racist by an american, is like being called stupid by a retard.

Saying that the Hollywood budget, COPY, is better than the original defeats the purpose.

The point is, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF REMAKING THE FILM, other than of course the fact that americans are too xenophobic to watch a foreign language film....

  • @FilthyVirus Why make the movie? The same reason Leone made A Fistful of Dollars even though Kurosawa's Yojimbo was still around, and the reason Kurosawa made Ran even though Shakespeare's King Lear was still around. Taking a familiar story, giving it a different setting, and telling it your own way makes it a different film. Oh, and declaring that all people in a country are bigots... Do you recognize the irony? Pot calling the kettle black?

  • @ebailey140 Are you comparing THOSE movies to THIS??????? REALLY???

This is a complete REMAKE. A Copy of the original, with barely any changes.

In the movies you spoke of, the directors only kept the main theme\idea and changed the entire nation and culture counter-part, thus adding actual originality.

Also, learn to read more carefully, not just the parts you like. I said 'the MAJORITY' of americans, not all of them.

    stupid american

  • @FilthyVirus Oh look more dumb euro-trash who can't handle the idea of people whos opinions differ from their own.

  • @GrimmRebellion THIS coming from an american. Oh the irony.

  • @FilthyVirus Oh please I've have yet to see a comment where a euro-trash fool doesn't insult an american just for speaking their mind.

  • @FilthyVirus At first, I thought you were a poser trying to present yourself as a Pompous Film Snob, but I see you're just a troll. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't even seen either of the films in question.

  • @GrimmRebellion since when when did being american make you a racist hmm i guess all muslims are members of al queda to. Dumbass.

no it ust means i have an opinion that differs from your own.

you really are a fool, and a small minded fool at that, I'm american and have seen both versions.

its not xenophobic to prefer a film you dont require subtitles to watch and enjoy.

  • @GrimmRebellion yes it is. Xenophobic and lazy.

  • @FilthyVirus uh no its not. Read a book and no its not lazy its just they made the film in english so of people who speak english we see that one in stead.

  • @FilthyVirus Yes, because in one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse nations in the world, no one watches foreign. Everyone eats cheeseburgers and soda then goes home to watch some Jersey Shore. This entire argument is pathetic and weak. What's the problem with a remake? Please explain, is it because more people will see this film due to American marketing or it is that more people will want see the original or maybe it's because the original will look better if it sucks. Just stupid.

  • @FilthyVirus Good Lord, I'm not meaning to sound racist here, but what is it with you foreign bastards think you can just immediately stereotype us and cuss us out? tell me, have you even met a REAL american?

  • @FilthyVirus Oh, I'm sorry. do YOU know any non-english speakers who would only want to watch the subtitles?

  • @FilthyVirus Oh please. Take off your nostalgia goggles, this film AND the original were both great. Your immature hatred of remakes is blocking you from enjoying an excellent movie, but whatever, your loss. And Americans are stupid because they have remakes? Wow...your comments just get better and better.

  • @FilthyVirus maybe some americans dont want to read fucking subtitles the whole movie you dipshit, how is it that hard to understand? and if i hadnt watched this movie first i wouldn't have given two shits about the swedish original.

  • @FilthyVirus and can't watch any fucking movie without you bastards constantly attacking americans. tell me, have you MET an american? a REAL american? didn't think so, prick.

  • @FilthyVirus by asuming ALL americans are iggnorant you have made yourself look iggnorrant you stupid fucking retard.

  • @FilthyVirus Just shut up you whiny U.K shit, no one cares what you think or ask for your bias opinion. Why don't you just enjoy both of the movies and stop being a whining euro turd! I've never seen the Swedish version the so called " ORIGINAL " one maybe it's "ORIGINAL " over there in Europe, but here in the U.S.A " Let Me In " is technically more "ORIGINAL" to us then the SWEDISH version BECAUSE we don't speak Sweden!! so stop ya belly aching ya cry baby..

  • @Bsmurfdizzle The US version might be a good one (I haven't seen it, but I want to). It might even be better than the Swedish one _ it would be really weird but it could be_ but that doesn't change the fact that the Swedish version is an original film and the other is a remake of that film. Just because you don't understand the language of the original film it doesn't mean the one you do understand is not a remake.

  • @latronqui i dont really care what one is the remake they are both based on the BOOK anyway

  • @LucySparkles96 but they are not just two completely separate interpretations of the book, the American one is clearly made as a remake of the Swedish film. I was answering to Bsmurfdizzle, who said that the American version is more original to Americans because they don't speak Swedish. But I don't think you can say a remake is not a remake just because you don't understand the original language. That was my point.

  • @latronqui but they are both based on the book and i thought the remake was better anyway the acting was done very well

  • @LucySparkles96 that's right! I'm not saying which one is better, I'm simply saying that you can't deny the American one is a remake. That's all.

  • @LucySparkles96

impossible, the remake has missed very important information wich gives sense to the movie

  • @damianreaven they may have missed things out but if they put in everything then we would have to sit the for to long and why impossible? i said i thought the acting was very good

  • @Bsmurfdizzle the sweedish version is the original though and i dont speek swedish either so i turned to this one and uk shit? bloody hell how much of a 'turd' can you be

  • @FilthyVirus wait wait i would love to watch a foreign movie but i can never find one

  • what is the rating to this movie??

  • @xXEmoxGirlXx1000 Would've been JO only, but that doesn't exist here. JO means Jesus Only btw.

  • Sugh freaking parents, They can't get past themselves to help their kids.smh. great film

  • @tuchesuavae That's part of what his whole deal is.

Such a fantastic actor. He's going to go places.

  • Hmm, an entirely new scene that wasn't in the original... I'm a little worried now.

  • @IYAMNI hahaha right on =)

  • Yes, there is such a thing as evil. It's when you take a unique, edgy film and turn it into porridge. Hack.

  • such good acting..kudos to u kid
