  • Learn how to hold a camera, ffs.

  • I appreciate firefighters, they do great work. Thank you for your service :)

  • Damn nyfd rides deep. We ride 2 to an engine normal

  • 0:13 puto

  • Why did the ladder come in when it's a car fire? Not trying to be witty or anything, just genuinely curious.

  • @Colecz

Because the ladder carries all of the tools and you never now what the situation will be until you get there. Maybe someone could be trapped in the car & have to be cut out. Maybe it's a multi-car accident and you have to stabilize the vehicles before you can do a rescue. The point is...it's better to have it and not need it...than need it and not have it.

  • @speedyspooley or you can put everything into 1 truck like they do in Europe...

  • @Colecz exposures to a building right beside the vehicle.

  • Very poor that really. Why is an ALP needed at a car fire? Why did they smash the windows when they could have just opened the doors? Why didn't a drop of water hit the fire until 2 and a half minutes in, and who knows how long they had been stood there before hand. You can talk about the car already been destroyed but damage to the road surface could have been reduced if they had got there fingers out.

The ff in my name stands for firefighter before you ask what I know.

  • @ff3127 I'm pretty sure the FDNY knows what their doing and does it their own way.

  • In sweden only 2 firefighter can do that!

  • @abdullahiraabi so do a ton of other departments in the united states, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice to have all those hands on deck if we could.

  • can you say...better get macco

  • love the music in the back ground lol

  • Does anyone know why it caught fire ?

  • NYPD: "man i shoulda been a fireman!"

  • @TheFiahman1 most cops are cops cuz they could pass the fdny test.. just sayin

  • let me see the carfax

  • yaaa fdny you guys are the best

  • Wow, so arbeiten Profis!!!!!

  • About 40 FDNY firefighters just to put out a car fire.

  • @EliteNINjADR So whats your complaint?

  • @EliteNINjADR actually it was an engine company and a truck company. SOP for a fdny car fire. One to stretch a line and one to work the irons and overhaul. (Im just assuming you even know what that means) its no where near 40 firemen. its more like 8. most towns jizz there pants when they hear a car fire come in and respond with multiple apparatus. mock all u want, but never the fdny. these people are the definition of heroes.

  • @tylorsalonia You don't need to "overhaul" a car. You just put the fire out, make sure fluids are contained, and the battery diconnected. We do that typically with 3-4 FF's regularly. We NEVER send more than one engine on a car fire. The Jake's work hard enough in the FDNY, no need to send them on this BS. The tow truck driver finishes cleaning up the mess.

  • @ffjsb I believe ensuring that nothing is burning, containing fluids and removing the battery once the fire's out is considered overhaul. At least it is where I work

  • @Dakota0626 There's no need to remove the battery, we either disconnect them or cut the wires. If you fill the car full of water there's not going to be any fire left. I can't see the point of a ladder on a car fire, there's usually just not that much work to do on one.

  • @ffjsb A lot of places use the ladder for traffic control.

  • @Dakota0626 There was no traffic problem on this fire, they had it shut down and at least a couple of cops on the scene. And as I watched it again, I noticed the door on the ladder was already open way before they stopped. WTF?? That's just dumb. Way too much hose for just a car fire, we just use 100' feet of 1 1/2" for that.

  • @ffjsb FDNY sends an engine and ladder on every car fire from what I understand. Yes they open the door as the pull up to scenes, that's just the way they do things. Different departments do things different ways. It's common around here to have 200 foot 1 3/4 or 1 1/2 preconnects or 100 foot trash lines. It just varies. But to say your way is better than any other departments isn't really helpful. FDNY sees a lot of this and has experience doing it, so I'm sure there is a reason for it.

  • @Dakota0626 Opening the door while the truck is still moving is plain stupid no matter what dept. does it. Guys have died from stupid little mistakes like that. As for the line they use, using a 200' preconnect isn't neccesarily a bad thing, it's just more work to get back in service. Some times guys do things just because "that's the way we always done it". I prefer to work smart, and not hard. Those guys are busy, I'd think they'd want to make things a little easier on themselves.

  • The car is gone, there is no need to rush to put out the fire unless it could have spread to something else near it

  • Its amazing how many ppl want to bitch about firefighters and how they do their job? Come live a day in our shoes. You wouldn't last though the first call.... go back to ur desk and be thankful people put their life on the line, get paid near to nothing or volunteer, take ur crap, and still be there to help you. Its sad how many stupid people we have in America these days SMH Keep it up FDNY!

  • @Taketheheat73 True I've read so many comments about people complaining how slow they are getting hose out or something. And better yet they don't know and understand the fact that there are volunteers out there like my whole family and get paid nothing at all to come save their ass at 2 oclock in the morning. And they don't realize that the bunker gear with scba and nomex makes your body heat rise a whole lot and it e weighs nearly 40 to 50 pounds total.

  • haha, so much for upwind parking! haha

  • Trucks *

  • If someone can tell me why, I don't know why they need 2 trickster there. It seemed like that one truck could have handled it .. :l

  • @bonedeath11 one engine, one ladder is what goes when theres a car fire... the ladder carries all the equitment for ventilation, extingushers, extraction tools, etc.... to open the hood the ladder company does that.. the engine doesnt have those equipments.

  • lembap cam siput....

  • "pinchi mamadita" jaja

  • No need to hurry, guys.... *fg*

  • Those sirens, breaking glass and fire sounds in New York still makes me sick.

  • you guys have no idea what your talkin about. the car is totaled. why rush shit when the car is done anyways? rush = shit goes wrong. and i bet 99% of you guys couldnt advance a hose line. pussies

  • @L1LNasty Wow, this Just Made My Day LOL.

  • @L1LNasty So when there's a fully (or almost fully) involved car fire with entrapment, they know what to do. Practice makes perfect, it's that simple.

  • @tjperkins88 They all know what to do. Practice makes perfect, How many fires does one FDNY house get a day? I believe the average is like 3-5. Yeah they get enough practice.

  • FUCK ALL PIGS

  • LAZY ASS MUTHER FUCKERS.

  • I love it how these lazy ass fucks take their time to put out the flames hahaha that why everything always burn to the ground coz these fucks are too slow.

  • @Lps2005 I wanna see you running into a burning house, son of a bitch.

  • Too Slow !

  • HE HE ale ruszają się jak muchy w smole

  • It's stupid those guys aren't fast. They're just taking they're time all slow and all, With my company, the guys at my company make it as quick and safe as possible.

  • Incredible!

  • One firefighter smash all the windows in the first minute, then a firefighter just open the doors at 2.03. Why didn´t the first firefighter just open the doors? No, because they love to destroy and smash things. There are lots of example

  • @vinkelnisse No the first guy did it so they have access to the fire with the water. The 2nd guy did it to check to make sure no one was inside.

  • And, 8-9 firefighters????? It´s just a small car burning. Hahahaha, in sweden it´s aa one man job!! hahahaha.

  • Why did he smash the window?? It would be much easier to open the door!!

  • @vinkelnisse Ok but why would he smash all the windows then lol

  • @danbeb He smashed the windows so the heat and smoke wouldn't build up and then send glass flying in there direction.

  • Fuck England, FDNY is a good fire dept. They know what the fuck their doin. With the car already destroyed, what's the rush?????

  • @karlander33 thanks for your reply try reading all the comments befor you say too much ? was there any need for the bad language , get a grip on real life feller.

  • I don't understand, most of you people say that it is important that safety comes first.. but not at single fireman wear his mask on? All studying says that a car fire smoke, is the most dangerous of all..

  • such interference would not be in Europe. are very slow. This car must be within a half minutes from arrival to begin to extinguish it showed what I do not understand.

  • Sheesh, just pull off a booster line from the Engine and it's out in 3 minutes!

  • that was alittle long to get water flowing yes but also the car on fire its done so yes take ur time but u still want to get the fire out with out wasting time also its good to play it safe just bc its a car fire doesnt mean shit there plenty of danger fighting car fires but on the other side really that cop is a asshole u got every right filming a fire from a distance.

  • 2.58 minutes to get water onto the fire from time of arrival of first machine ,in England we would have the fire out in that time ,why smash the car windows did it help ??

  • @firebuddy100

Well with a car fire....it doesn't really matter. No one trapped...take your time and be safe, 90% when its a car fire, its beyond repair.

  • @firebuddy100

Who gives a fuck how long it takes. What makes you look extremely stupid is the fact that you're basing a single Engine company's' action as that of which an ENTIRE COUNTRY would operate.

Good job of trying to look smart, but instead looking like a jackass.

  • @firebuddy100 Lovely comment. The yanks cant handle a fire right. they just running around and looked stupid and smashing things.

  • i am not anti-cop but she needs to rethink that comment because it could cost her job. I doesnt matter that it was a " car on fire" this is the United States and if you want to record a car on fire you have a right to. You were not obstructing the firefighters from doing their job you were exercising your right to free speech and the fact that she touched you and pushed your camera away only solidifies my point.

  • Die arbeiten aber auch nach dem Motto geb dem feuer ne chance :P

  • lol i hope that cop wuz joking "SERIOUSLY ITS A CAR ON FIRE!!" ...guess someones never seen a car fire before

  • I think its a little silly to send a engine and a ladder out for a car fire just the engine would do the ladder could stay at the firehouse

  • @marcelrotgans The truck carries "entry" tools that are needed to gain access to the vehicle, should the need arises.Engines don't carry things like saws and other power tools. Only trucks carry these tools.

Although,i did notice this engine company had the hood and trunk open prior to the arrival of the truck.

  • @25mfd okay then i understand it thanks

  • The ladder was there cause an engine and ladder are standard response to fires

  • My goodness... 2:30 and no water???? What are they doing? Is it more important to punch the windows than get some water (or foam) at the fire?

  • Two and a half mins to get water on!!!!.... ok the car was scrap by the time they got there but water should still be on within 30 secs!!

  • Why is it taking so long to get some water on it?

  • @WhitakerSJA They always do that. There is no hurry to put it out...the car is already destroyed.

  • I felt like throwing that camera to that cop face at the end

  • thanx for the video

  • Was the ladder truck even needed? They were just standing there....

  • I would have been a rebel and punched that lady in the face I front of third then I would have stole that ladder truck:)...........jk ... Gta is fun

  • que trabajo mas lento, despues de 2:40 recien comienzan la extincion del fuego....el bombero de la manguera al parecer no sabia que hacer....

  • sucks for the school bus

  • Lets break all the windows out of the car,let the fire spread, then take our time putting it out!

  • @bvfd271 Uh huh, lets leave the windows rolled up so we can't access the fire. Lets rush and endanger not only ourselves but the people around us. Think before you speak.

  • Comment removed

  • should have told her you were filming New York's FINEST!

  • those r rent a cops cuz they pissed they couldent become firefighters like me and my brothers!

  • lol 0:55 im so being a fireman.

  • You guys obviously do not know how FDNY does work!

  • dont listen to that cunt! keep the videos coming

  • Where are the graham crackers marsh nellies and chocolate at we could make some smores

  • So much time to put out a car fire... Really dont understand why do you took so long to put it out... And why do you broke the car windows, instead of opening the doors?? And so many firefighters?? Please...

  • @xpoky thats true man. Thats a job for max. 4 FF. Normaly 2 are enough. I dont understand why they are standing in front of the car. Nobody remember this video from the exploding front bumper?

That can happend everytime and everywhere

  • lol, love how the cops respond code 3 to set-up traffic control but end up standing around and telling jokes to each other while the camp fire is being put out. XD great video!

  • Were they really hooking up to the hydrant if you cant put that out on tank water theres a problem

  • one trucks enough dammit -.-

  • @volcom1722 1 engine 1 truck and a battalion chief to car fires

  • Shoulda pointed the camera at her and said, "I'm video tapin YOU!"

  • :D 0:00 :D

  • What took so long to get water on it?

  • lol @ nypd saying what are you video taping? So what they are video taping? Leave them be! If they didn't want people near the scene, do your job and put up scene tape.

  • Good job FDNY, and to those cops go eat a doughnut, losers

  • @Splintermvp13 hahahahah! thx dude :-) greez Chris, Ladder 4 FDNY :-)

  • Very fast response but allways too much time to throw water on fire...Italian VVF..

  • @beastboss90 what do you want them to do, exhaust themselves to pour water on a car thats already totalled? whats the point? they handled this car fire the exact same way every other fire agency in the country does - completely, and professionally.

  • @chris71mach1 never said they aren't professional, and always respecting FF from all over the world...I say just that for what I saw, they take it easy......Up the FDNY, always ;)

  • I think the fast response time of FDNY makes up for the "slow knockdown"..think about this in reality..it was actually quick compared to most departments. ALOT of departments would not even be on scene yet. just sayin

  • Who cares how long it took them to put water on it. Its a car fire with no exposures they total the car anyways. Just because they don't act like its the only fire they see dosen't make this terrible.

  • Gotta love the cops who do stupid things like that at the end.

  • @Bruticus713

    sounds like a dying chicken

  • Still 2 ( sometimes 3 ) engine for a poor car fire? O_o

    FDNY is rich!!

  • you should of told that dumb bitch at the end to wake up luv

  • Cool video... tho you should've told that fatass cop to go fuk herself!!!! And that you're wit the media... Cops fear the media!!!! lol

  • Bloody cop at the end, shut the fuck up

  • 2:30 for stretching the first line at a car fire? That's a very bad time.

    Nice Video!

  • @ffhamburg192 Nice Video I agree... For one of the Largest and most professional departments in the worls, 3 minutes to stretch a line is really terrible.

  • @ffhamburg192 But hey FDNY Still respond to more working fires then Chicago, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia Fire Depts. Combined. If you look up more vids on FDNY You'll see not every company is the same it probably took them 2 mins because the fire isnt severe

  • the best part of the job that you can brake all windows :D

  • @Tynius Hahaha ! :D
