I don't even see why they're called "Lambo Doors". They don't open remotely close to a Lamborghini door. If they DID, they'd open directly up. What's the point of installing somethign that's only noticable if someone opens the door, and then for some odd reason decides to try to tilt it up?
Maybe so you can get this tiny car into really tight parking spaces and still climb out?
Some days, I wish I had them on my work van. I mean I can park at the back end of a car lot, away from any other car, and the next time I walk out to get some parts out of the van, someone has parked right next to me. Please, everyone, STAY AWAY FROM WORK VANS!!! We've got a job to do.
.... have you SEEN a Smart? they're tiny cars to begin with. i don't think i've seen a single parking space where it wouldn't be possible to park another 2 or 3 more Smarts in it. And again.... you still have to open the door the normal way. The only way this would help you CLIMB out of the car should you park somewhere REALLY tight.... is if you ROLL out, since that's just about all the extra room it gives you.... and even that's a stretch.
What, you didn't hear? Obama is going to mandate smaller parking spaces to force everyone to buy tiny cars. You are sooooo going to regret not buying genuine Lambo Doors (TM) for your car.
