Anyone that has done their own independent research would be able to confirm this.

The Acorn controversy is about its employees making up names or registering names more than once for a money incentive. They had a CNN broadcast where tone of the ACORN members admitted that they voted multiple times. The CNN newscaster said, "I think that's illegal, but that's okay." Fox News doesn't need to try to persuade viewers like the mainstream media does, their ratings prove it. The voter registration fraud wasn't just covered by Fox News, various news sites have covered it, including the Associated Press. Anyone that has done their own independent research would be able to confirm this.

there is a difference, a huge difference between these comparisons.
figureheads of religion have a history (aka reputation) of exploiting trust and the fear to their advantage. This includes molestation but also wars, censorship, and science.
AIG is a group of different people from different cultures and beliefs, many of which had no part to play in the mistakes. They are suing many banks because they were also lied to about the value of the loans they were insuring. They are just a scape-goat.

A voting booth IS a place of supreme trust, and the associated jobs are to be assigned to those accurately screened by the Higher Entity (AIG) to deserve that trust placed into them.

There were a few people in a few states filling out additional duplicate forms registering people as one party or another because they were paid based on commission and results of their canvassing. They didn't actually vote for anyone at all!

I see how you can compare the two, but it's like comparing apples and oranges - both are fruits after all.
The people hired weren't hired to fill out false ballots. The company turned them in voluntarily when they found out their employees were slacking off. Notice that there is no whistle-blower or crack-down investigation. This is not some tyrranical scheme by a registration company (one of a great many) to intentionally influence elections, just lazy people that didn't want to do their jobs

The felons paid by ACORN (in part w/our taxes) to forge registrations don't accurately reflect the core of ACORN. The core would rather do things like get votes for by Obama by driving vans full of homeless people into Ohio from surrounding states during the early voting period. The core doesn't want GOP observers at polling places, but they do think it's ok for them to break the law by campaigning for Obama within 100 ft of a polling place while they wait for their latest load to vote.

ACORN has not ever pointed out to any board of elections or secretarie of state that some of the registrations they "had to turn in" were suspected to be bogus. You have to commit registration fraud before you can commit voter fraud. Did anyone say Micky mouse was registered to vote? When you will hire dishonest people what do you expect?
