I wish people would stop saying "Its not as good as Kings Island or Disney" No Kidding. I live 1 mile from the park and it is a nice little place that hasnt changed much since I was a kid in the seventies. The Cannon Ball rocks, The Oh 2 ride is really cool and the boat chute is great. Its a good place to spend a evening . I will always have a soft spot for it. The only thing in the whole park that is really lame is the Haunted House. It is in Georgia BTW not Tenn.
The wooden coaster is the cannonball, the smaller jerking coaster is wild lightning, and the one where u ride in a caterpillar... Well I don't know that one! That park rock u should try the genie!!!

I'm not saying that this Lake Winnie isn't fun or anything, I'm just saying that Disney well deserves its title.

Ive been here a few times. i love the classic feel to the park and the 1920s Boat Chute was designed/built by the original owner (i think) the ride is really cool, especially the like 10 minute pitch black tunnel (and the splash litterally blasts u into the lake XD ...) cannonball is def a good woodie also, and Wild Lightnin has the most intense hairpin turns on any wild mouse i have ridden, this is a fun park to go to if u live within a couple hours from it =)
Wild Lightning is painful. You stand 20 min in line, listining to "Welcome to Wild Lightning, this is an Intense (sounds like Insest) ride involving high speeds and fast turns. For your saftey, please keep hands on handrails at all times, and be prepared for sudden stops." (I memorized it cause it says it every 5 seconds...) and then it's not fun, it makes it look like your going to run off the track, and then it makes you soar cause it jerks you so hard.
Actually, It's over the boarder. It is in fact in Georgia. A lot of people in Tennessee think it is however, but it's in Georgia. look on there website.
If you can imagine three 14-year old middle school students on the caterpillar trying to scream the entire ride, but failing because it's hard to do it wit a straight face, that's me and my buds. earlier today. XD
When I was a little kid my grandfather tried to scare us by telling us snakes were gonna drop down from the ceiling. I haven't been in 12 or 13 years but I really wanna go back.
p.s. the Chute ride is freaking killer cause its so old and i love that. the lift hill is leaning. BUT its true history. if you notice at the bottom of the hill though where the boat flys into the channel, the crash marks on the edges lol
great park the wild mouse is not only full of pain but i dont normaly say this but needs to be slowed down that last turn i saw my life pass before my eyes. i have a photo video of my trip to the lake on my channel too

Nice video. Looks like the Wild Lightning is every bit as painful as every other wild mouse coaster that's ever been built. May be even a little more. The Cannonball looks great but that Wacky Worm coaster looks extremely scary (LOL). I'll have to visit Lake Whinnie sometime :)
I love that place been there since i was 6. so much fun! Wild lightning hurts so badly but is so addictive! I recommend going there if you haven't already!

There use to be 2 trains on the Cannonball rollercoaster, but the gray one's brakes failed and slammed into the blue train. A girl also got bit by a water moscan while on that boat chute ride.

Uh... You bought tickets? Armbands are only like 10 bucks... And you get unlimited rides... And its only like 5 to get in... so not even 20 bucks to stay there all day, if you bring ur own drinks and shit...
My friends bet me 20 bucks if I ride wild lightnin 5 times I did it they didnt give me the money but i did get a broke rib! :]
