Ms. Bergen gets a backhand from Connery in this great movie. Brian Keith rocks as TR! Only Sir Connery could have played this Berber pirate. The Marine attack is awsome!

One of my favorite Jerry Goldsmith scores. I hold The Wind And The Lion next to his scores for Alien, Basic Instinct, The Omen, Patton, Planet Of The Apes, Poltergeist, Rudy, and Star Trek - The Motion Picture. Absolutely majestic.

Oh, yes. It is one of the better oriental scores that I've heard. It shares some minute similarities with Planet Of The Apes, but other than that it was an entirely original Jerry Goldsmith score. I'm still amazed by how many scores he wrote.
