did that with my hand made CC pulse charger, and a 9v baterry and it charges but doesnt reach 9v, and the final voltages depends on the voltage it was.......alkaline batteries are a pain to recharge. just usefull if u're too lazy to go and buy new ones. it saves u 3 months in a remote control.

FYI, I don't know how licking it can make it all the way to your heart, but I know that if you poke leads from a 9v into each hand (through the skin, as the skin resists electricity), then you can get a heart attack. The good news is, if you do it again, you can restart your heart (like a defibrillator). Use a 9v as an emergency defibrillator, but only if you know what you're doing, as it could kill someone who's not having a heart attack!
