  • "intricately woven together"....im on tv better not sound like an asshole....TOO LATE

  • For Fringe, Lost, and Alias, they all are serialized - and this is what I so love about the shows that J.J. Abrams has created... It's as though each show is a book and the seasons just chapters.... I LOVE to read and watching all of these shows is very similar to watching an epic that allows one to "escape" and live vicariously through the characters in the shows... Most of all are the story arcs and themes which are so prevalent in all of these shows...

  • He said "you know" 16 times :)

  • for those who couldn't understand his rambling: what he basically said was that they had a lot of ideas since the beginning but the specifics and how the ideas connected with one another were made along the way (perhaps to give room to consider for fan reaction and accidental hits like the benjamin linus character turning out to be awesome).

  • Navenn has fallen asleep 2:28 Well done J.J !

  • Bah. The Finale made it glaringly obvious that the creators pretty much made it all up as they went along. They didn't give any (good) answers because they simply didn't have any to offer.

That's why they came up with that sob-ending about the afterlife that you could have tagged on to ANY show with exactly the same results.

  • @JassuElla BULLSHIT! You fucking prick " i dont unferstand Lost, and i missed the answers so i became a hater" am i right?? YES i am.

  • I Watch allmy Episodes at TV[.]Usnetxxx[.]com

  • I Watch all my Episodes HD

    at : TV[.]Usnetxxx[.]com

  • he didn't explain what (from the final season) was planned from the beginning.

  • @Bitrunner1 As opposed to an orgy of guns, cussing, and slow motion escape scenes from explosives? It may be the inverse of that, but it's still just as bad. I don't see any reason why anyone in television should pay attention to your thoughts on this. :/

  • @Bitrunner1 jj had nothing to do with lost after season 2. nothing at all.

  • @dazlok23 well he did write the season 3 premiere. After that though, yea, nothing at all.

  • Well I think I got the jist of what he was trying to say. Basically they had a ideas for sub plots and stories and the main plot idea and probably the ending. Now as your going along obviously things change, sub plots are removed added based on fan response, actors, writers, its organic in that it changes, but not that they are making it up on the fly like some TV shows *COUGH* Battlestar Galactica *COUGH*

  • "you know.. you know.."

    so funny

  • im feeling organic.

  • That was just brilliant, the way J.J. used the metaphor about hiking a mountain through fog and coming to the summit in clarity for the first time.

  • true for the Heroes comment... such a shame

  • This is why Hero fails post season 1.

  • yes! heroes wasnt amything worth watching after season 1. it was almost as if they only had a story written for season 1 and after that story was concluded the producers were like "now what??"

  • @loketron What do you mean almost like? That's exactly what happened. Heroes seemed like it didn't even have the ending OF season one planned properly. It was all awesome up until the final....I can't call it a fight. It was just really bad.

  • @Midgetdance I know what you mean. The battle between Jack and Smokey was alot better-and they didn't even have super powers!

  • @Anonomius0 Remember the final battle last season when Peter and Samuel pushed a pile of dirt at each other? Wasn't that exciting lol

  • @BuFufilms What do you mean? They had what they wanted to do planned out for five seasons. Even some of the founders we hadn't seen yet were supposed to be part of future story arcs. Although I think they somewhat changed what they were planning after SEASON 2. Of course I can't say that Lost is innocent of completely changing it's course apart from the end (Some time into season 3). Though we may have originally returned to what was originally planned for season 5.

  • Thank you for the video!

  • FIRST! i love the show, and his explanation is as intricate as the plot
