Most of people do not think far enough. Only China issue is resolved then Taiwan issue can be resolved. What is the China issue? As long as China is not a democratic country, there is an issue. If you think Taiwan independence right now is the only way (note that I said "right now"), you may be fooled by the people who want your votes. They know the issue, but they do not care as long as they are elected by yelling "Taiwan Independence!". You have been fooled.
