I play bass in a cowboy church band (3C-Salado TX) and was looking for a female singer to demionstrate for the band. We are doing this song next Sunday. Most of what I found was too slow, too low, or just not right for us. I'm not complaining because each artist did a wonderful version. BUT your version is so close to our country "style". You have such a lovely (what I call) mid-range voice and you pepped up this old hymn so that it was JUST RIGHT and still the message of the song was clear.

This is absolutely beautiful! My family are looking for a version of this, my mothers favourite hymn, to play at her funeral.
