@133711011 There is one mod called "Diverse Grass" that apparently adds more variety to the grass, but I don't think it actually increases quality, I think its just differently colored versions of the default grass texture. Still, if you're looking for more variety, that may be the mod for you. It will try to overwrite LOD textures, so if you've modded the LOD textures, make sure to reinstall them after you install this mod.

@133711011 The reason you don't see a lot of texture mods is because Oblivion's grass still stresses many PC's today (It has tons of features many games foilage do not, such as Point Lighting, Canopy Shadows overlay onto grass rather than just terrain, self-shadowing, and fairly high poly for most game's grass (most games use a single plane as the grass mesh :O)), adding more complexity to the grass mesh would put such a mod only within the reach of the most powerful of gaming computers.

@18kramer98 Well I have no problem with the load order stuff, but my processor's a 2.1 Ghz express family chipset with integrated graphics, so I'm not supposed to run oblivion on ultra low settings anyway, but I run them at medium with Streamline. ;)

@18kramer98 You need a pretty good computer to run a heavily modded Oblivion. Unlike many games, all components are equally important to good performance. For script heavy mods such as Animated Window Lighting System, Weather Mods, etc, per Core performance of the CPU is crucial, for texture mods (QTP3) RAM and Video RAM capacity is most important, for shader mods (OBGE), shader pipeline performance of the GPU is most important (ATI = More Stream Processors, NVIDIA = Higher shader clock rate)

@danjodan PC, PC PC. If you have a super high end PC, get this game on PC, because you can do so much more with it than the PS3, for example, the graphics mods make the game amazing to just look at, which you can't do with the PS3. Plus, your friend lies... PC has better graphics than the PS3.

@danjodan Depending on exactly how good your PC is (Say, you have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 and a decent processor. ) you shouldn't experience too much of a framerate drop. Of course, all those high definition textures everywhere will lower it on a high end pc by like 3 or 4 fps, barely even noticable.

Oblivion Graphics extender ftw!!! Full screen ssao and god rays. One of the best looking games available fully moded considering the scale of the game aswell
