More importantly, the US blamed Russia, and rightfully so considering they had been shooting at Georgia since January and instigated, trained, and supported the rebels against Georgia.

It is exactly the opposite, what was said by EU committee. Russia is blamed only for "not taking all possible actions to prevent the conflict". Georgia is blamed without doubts that they pulled the trigger first.

Uh, it's not like they just dropped those bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki from one day to another. Japan was an aggressive force that was trying to conquer Asia, murdered and tortured millions of people like in Nanking and Eenheid 731, and had attacked America too. The Allies did regular bombing for months but the Japanese wouldn't surrender. So I think that dropping those bombs was justified. The innocent Japanese civilians who died were the victim of their own system, not US.

And Russia has no right to invade another country simply because people with a Russian passport are being attacked. That makes absolutely no sense! * Georgia claimed South Ossetia against peoples will. (North is russian)

* Georgia started to "clean" the races.

* Russian peacekeepers with approval from UN went to the area to protect people.

* Recently, Georgian army killed 10 Russian peacekeepers and wounded 30.

* Russian law says to protect their own citizens whenever they are.
