  • You play very well. I like your sound a lot. I also have Kinman's, with AVn-62/Impersonator 54/SCn.

  • best demo ive seen, thanks again u r amazin

  • Do you sell lesson DVD's or through online downloads? I love your version of Folsom Prison Blues and would like to learn some of those licks. If you do have lessons let me know how to get them. Thanks.

  • what pedals/amp are you using?

  • can these pickups do classic rock/ general rock on the bridge pickup? i really wanna replace my tex mex's.

  • Kinmans are in a league of their own. I've bad two sets and they are authentic sounding and truly without noise.

  • good performing with feelings...

can't believe the tone was came out thru line6 x3

    unbelievable

  • I have to get me some of these pups .... anyone want to buy 2 x fender scns and a dimarzio tone zone?

  • fabulous playing marred by a very orocessed tone - would prefer to hear you through a cranked head

  • PS. Thanks for the Fantastic 4:52 minutes of pure unadulterated TONE!!! Captain Coconut

  • I have a set of these (2005) in a 1962 RI STAT Tone for days... in any configuration...Humbucker/Single coil... Tube/Solid state...Analog/Digital fxs.... Does not matter! They bleed tone! Would definitely would replace with same guitar if lost/stolen.

  • Super feel, tone and.. well everything!! Your rock. Great post.

  • very, very, excellent guitar' playing and big sound !!!!

  • Love your "personalized" version! Great sound!

  • Your tone is awesome. What kind of processor are you using to get that sound. It sounds like a humbucker, not the least bit strat-like. My Kinman AVN Blues never sound like that. Sweet playing too! My compliments.

  • Thanks for such a nice comment, really appreciate that.

I am using line 6 X3 LIVE, modern hi gain setting.

  • Thanks for letting me know. After reading what you used, I took my old Digitech RP2000 out of mothballs and could get a very similar tone on my Kinman equipped strat using it's high gain "DASOLO" patch. I'm usually a guitar straight into the tube amp kind of player, but the AVN Blues pickups seem to shine when using such a setting through a decent processor. BTW, I keep finding myself coming back to this clip for a listen. Tasty playing, indeed! I'd love to hear more in a similar vein.

  • give me i clean sound if you have a video

  • very nice sound of this kinman blues pickups!!..i just order 1 set for my strat :)) ... i wait now :P

  • great sound, great job

  • The sound is superb on this one Davy!...
