I heard they replaced Sal Barone with Michael Fishman because Sara did not get along with Sal at all and Roseanne decided that Sara would be harder to replace. It's a shame really because I do not the character DJ at all. Maybe Sal would've made the character less annoying than Michael's portrayal.

I enjoyed this show in the beginning, but as it went on Roseanne became more and more obnoxious, Jackie descended into madness. To me they were not likeable at all. However I can relate to their struggles and strife. My parents were very hard working parents trying to maintain a home for us,keep us on the straight and narrow and have a life of their own. I always loved Dan though ,he never really changed.

The second DJ is better. Sara Gilbert (Darlene) beat up the DJ in this episode off camera. They had to WARN her NOT to beat up the second DJ That is hilarious!!!! I LOVE DARLENE!!!! she is WICKED!!!

@mizlesu1 actually, Sara Gilbert didn't actually beat up the DJ, she just hit him or shoved him or something like that. She didnt really beat him up. But I do agree that Michael Fishman was better.

i love this show!!! roseanne reminds reminds me of my mother! she looks like her and they are both sarcastic and have the same sense of humor. i don't understand why people hate the show so much. they keep calling it "white trash"... i know for a FACT that some of your family members act or look like that weather you like it or not that what makes it REAL<3 and thats why i love it LOL tell me your mom don't look like that! tell me you don't relate to the characters

Did anyone notice they're arguing with someone named "wrestlingfanatic"? There's no point in trying to sway a person who actually enjoys that sport-- whether it be the cheap, fake, glitzy wrestling or the male-porno wrestling... Also, they decided to turn this argument into a race argument. Which is like fist-fighting with lead gloves as a handicap. Anyone can use the race card... why not find a valid argument?

I enjoyed this show in the beginning, but as it went on Roseanne became more and more obnoxious, Jackie descended into madness. To me they were not likeable at all. However I can relate to their struggles and strife. My parents were very hard working parents trying to maintain a home for us,keep us on the straight and narrow and have a life of their own. I always loved Dan though ,he never really changed.

both girls were in their twenties and married when their children were born. (Darlene did get married after getting pregnant, but she still did) On the scale of faults, they could do a hell of a lot worse. Like being drug dealers or serial killers or so on.

I love the ground Roseanne Barr walks on because she is a real woman 100%. With all the fake people in hollywood it is so good to see reality sometimes. And furthermore, she is the same way in real life. Roseanne you rock!

@wrestlingfanatic3459 "White Trash" are people who steal from taxpayers by way of a fake disability claim, steal from their mothers, and do nothing all day but eat and watch tv.
There's nothing wrong with being part of a working-class family like the Conners who have little, but still help their family and friends. It's better than being part of a greedy and selfish "successful" family who have everything, but can't even be concerned to help their own mothers.

I used to hate this program, it was like watching my own family own TV. There are times the program is still hard for me to watch, I can remember the situations and emotions too well. This program was disrespectful, real and a lot of times did not respond in a "positive or correct" manor, but they were expressing real answers to real problems.
