i was 15 when this happened it pissed me off as i went to see this at the cinema not knowing about the deaths until a year after.

i still cannot believe they released the film after the deaths....but hey thats hollywood

The worse punishment is knowing that you were responsible partly for the decapitation and death of three people 2,, being very young children. Personally, I wouldn't have survived the feelings of guilt.

Not a fan of TZone or the spin offs, I've watched them though. I do think Landis knows comedy and movies, he was not the best man, nor his crew, to handle this project, it did require extreme safety, so I think he switched to movies where people were the major element, and not balancing vehicle stunts, pyro, etc. It's required in film, and in the USA at least, more stringently protected...according to Jackie Chan who knows a thing or two about movie action!!

@TeamAutobots51817 Not cool. This happened ages ago, He wasn't trying to kill anyone, that's just sad...as is the event in question. I was really a kid back then, it was the first time I knew or heard about an actors death, and oddly, I didn't hear about the children's deaths

@TeamAutobots51817 He's got a great body of work, and his real forte is comedy, I think there was a recipe setting itself up for disaster, with all I read on what was left to chance, Working the kids in unsafe settings, and by-stepping legalities. There was likely studio pressure in this case
