This was the day my wife and I got married! November 10th, 2007. We go up to split rock every year on our anniversary to watch the lighting of the house.

Oooooo, it's eery at night, Pepi, but very beautiful here, for sure. And yes, the waves are very nice to listen to. Split Rock Lighthouse sits on a granite rock formation 200 feet high, so the lighthouse itself didn't need to be very tall.
Split Rock is so awesome! My family and I have been going there for 6 years now! Going back in July! I was there when the lighthouse was on. We always have this really cool campsite with a cliff on it and u can see the lighthouse from there!
Why did they decommission the light?
