You're partly right, but I think he meant LA Nut, as in spanish, "the nut or one nut (either goes)" since Dave uses his initials for DZnuts, it would only make sense if it were LA for Lance Armstrong and of course joke is on the fact that Lance only has one nut since he lost the other due to cancer.
