Love this track, another band which went out of the limelight too quickly!Daniel Looked great for 30 whatever..and by far had the better voice!..and how many ppl in todays buisness strech the truth..its expected of them now!
absolutley love this! i have never seen a video for Yell before, their stuff is impossible to find. wish there was a SAW/PWL video complilation available.
in 1989 l was working as a taxi driver, l picked up 2 lads in halifax and took them to manchester, we chatted and they said they we forming a duet but hadn't decided on a name. paul was sat in the front passenger seat, right in front ofthe taxi sticker that gave the taxi rate and the reg number of the car C543YEL .. coincidence eh?
Didnt it ermerge that Daniel James was really called Colin Heyward and he was aged 68? The papers found his birth certificate and found he was born in 1917 or summat
Fantastic! I absolutely love this video and this song! A reminder of the Astoria nighclub in London that I will miss so much. These guys could have made more success if the British media didn't destroy them simply because one of them was older than he claimed (32 compared the claim of 23) and their refusal to go along with the trademark squeeky clean SAW image of smiles, which I confess to always being a fan of given it's throwback to the 1950s. Thanks for posting this fantastic video!
