  • I would suggest having someone jot down as much of the lecture as possible and then adding it as text over the video. Where there are gaps due to the audio you could try asking Dr. Simmons. I just can't hear enough of the lecture to sit through the entire thing.

  • I have taken two classes with Simmons and I must say that even though the audio for this video is bad, his classes are very intriguing and thought-provoking. He is an excellent lecturer

  • I can crank up the volume so high that I can understand almost every other word in the louder passages, but still not a single one in the lower ones. Any louder and the terribly distracting noise becomes so loud that I don't dare to use headphones, as a cough from someone in the audience would damage my ear drums. It may have gotten 5000 views as of now, but I can't imagine that anyone has listened to this lecture from start to end.

  • excellent work!

  • yea that mike is useless, do you have a link?

  • Aww I really wanted to listen to a lecture about this topic too.

    =(

  • Sorry, terrible acoustics in the room.

    Try using headphones, it helps.
