I am medium darkskinned and mostly in school all the guys who liked me were light skinned, white, or latino. One or two darksinned black guys liked me but mostly the guys were lighter. Darksinned black women are pretty also but a lot of black men cannot seem to see it. Nowadays no black women are good enough for them light or dark.

It was pretty much like that when I was young during the 70s. I was pretty much the opposite. I always loved dark complexion women. All my girlfriends, my ex-wife (very beautiful ) and current wife are dark. My wife at 53 years of age is beautiful. Men ( young and old ) come on to her all the time. Things have changed over the years. Its a more integrated society and variety in complexion are more acceptable.

You are are kinda dark... but not that dark to get the negative comments. Plus, you're quite are "gorgeous", proving that black is truly beautiful. But you don't have the pronounced features like big lips, big, high cheekbones, big mouth. Often times, is not so much the darkness as it is the features along with it that get the negative reactions. And, dark colors tend to provoke reaction much more than neutral tones. But dark can be beautiful, while light or pale can be way overrated.

I am medium darkskinned and mostly in school all the guys who liked me were light skinned, white, or latino. One or two darksinned black guys liked me but mostly the guys were lighter. Darksinned black women are pretty also but a lot of black men cannot seem to see it. Nowadays no black women are good enough for them light or dark.

It was pretty much like that when I was young during the 70s. I was pretty much the opposite. I always loved dark complexion women. All my girlfriends, my ex-wife (very beautiful ) and current wife are dark. My wife at 53 years of age is beautiful. Men ( young and old ) come on to her all the time. Things have changed over the years. Its a more integrated society and variety in complexion are more acceptable.
