I would suggest to add an adjustment layer (Layer > Adjustment Layer), use the pen tool to make a mask covering the person firing the gun and the muzzle flash, change the input/output white under Color Correction > Levels, and bring the feathering up on the mask, to make the flashes look a bit more realistic.

I'm not a professional or anything, but one thing I like to do is set my explosion footage to some kind of blending mode, like "screen" or "add"...it will blend them into the scene better!;)

Like clone myself, Make enviromental modifications, Exit wounds, Bullet hits, Aweseom muzzle flashes with smoke, Just work on it. You'll make them really good eventually. I'm subbing becuase this video was actually funny, Lol.
@BEAST8446 Yeah, the first time I got AE2 I used blood the same way in a video on my channel called 'Soulja Boy Soldier'. I thought it looked amazing then but now I'm not too impressed with it. You should look into the FreddieW 'blood puff' method. I've tried both and I prefer blood puff by far, and it's also easier to composite!
@explodingtacoinc Does that come on the AE2 disc? Or do you have to color correct a dust charge red? I was playing around with stuff and couldn't really figure it out. Thanks!
@BEAST8446 Yeah, you basically just make a dust charge red. Search "Making of Modern Warfare Frozen Crossing Part 2" on here for an alternative, though. If you can figure out how to download the video, it includes some awesome "dusty" blood hits that they and FreddieW use.
