The Reserve isn't even associated with the Federal Government. They are just using the name Federal. We need to abolish the Federal Reserve Gangsters and the IMF Cartel. There only plan is ruin America and make our Children & Grandchildren Slaves to their Monetary System. We need the Lawyers of America To Wake UP, ban together and end this nonsense. We need a miracle Fast.
OMG! Did Bennie REALLY say ... "the reason that people hold gold is a PROTECTION AGAINST "TRADITION"???!!
L O L!! YEAH - Cuz' "traditionally" the International Bankers SCREW countries and other borrowers! THIS is why it is a TRADITION in France that the eldest son is told where the PMs are buried ... in the folk's back yard!
LOVE Fiddler btw. "If John was a rich man, didledidledidle..."
Well, a hearty thumbs up here! Excellent mix as even though it didn't make sense to make everything a TRADITION answer is is much more refreshing than hearing the chairman lie. I love this"The FED is making profits for the government". Somewhere recently the people in suposed power just threw in the towel on hinesty completely. They used to at least 'skirt' around the truth. Now they just put on the bold face and lie directly. What's worse is that the people just eat it up like it's gospel.
JPM reads charts as well, so we should expect suppression to become serious at that point, perhaps at 41? They'll keep their powder dry too looking for volumn to dry up. Watch volumn as well as price.
Johney boy! And its up about 40 cents already this morning - watcha gonna do with all that powder you kept dry now?! I was hoping for a lower low so I could go in on margin; not holding my breath now...we shall see - the bernk might still be bluffing here; surely they can't just roll out QE3 with the markets like they are
@theMAXILOPEZpsycho its in gold dude.... and a little silver... but I'll be swapping a lot of gold for silver if we can reach and hold $40 for longer than 3 days.
@stellaconcepts I see - good call I suppose, far safer to be in the yellow metal. Just wondering, if this is a bluff and silver gets another good knock down at the point they let everything crash and qe3 is really inevitable - would you be buying on margin as well as stacking physical?? I think I will - if it goes down to 30 from here thats looking like an absolute gift
Government ripping off the people is tradition too, kinda the opposite tradition to gold which is honest value and true currency. In the final days of the Roman empire they alloyed gold with lesser value metals to pay down out of control debt with lower value coinage (sound familiar). So we can be thankfull these frauds do not consider Gold as money as it means we can still trust its purity and the fraud is limited to paper only.
Yo, StellaCon, Thanks for posting and for your brilliant editing & humor. Finding this vid was a nice respite after just suffering the hate filled postings of another Tuber: Schittreports, who blasted Ron Paul for this very same interview, and for his trying to make sense of the horrible state of economic affairs we both are witnessing and which we are facing ahead.
PS, no comments left at Schittreport's site. It's not worth wasting the ink that is not needed for posting
Bernanke is gambling with the economy, traders gambling in the market and I'm going to Vegas to gamble while on vacation. I have the best odds at the casino.
Good play on Ron Paul's part. Not many out there are "on to" gold & silver, and when RP revealed that banks hold gold reserves, a lot of people must have thought, "Aha! The banks must know it's money. I need to get me some too!"
Good job on being the latest YouTuber to spread disinformation and twist Bernanke's words. He answered "it's tradition" to the question "why do central bank hold gold instead of diamonds"
But I must say I was also stunned to hear Bernanke says gold wasn't money. He also said Treasuries where not money which makes me think he does not know what money is. For a Fed chairman, I think that's a bit of a problem.
No I did get it and I laughed hard. The problem is that people have to be careful before saying "Bernankes says central banks hold gold because it's tradition". What he really said is that it was tradition for central banks to hold reserves in the form of gold rather than diamonds.
@BlunderCity actually i disagree - i think he meant tradition relating to holding gold full stop... i dont think he was referring to tradition over diamonds. but we'll never understand how the bernanke's mind works.
@BlunderCity i understand how you can easily come to that conclusion... all im saying is i dont think he meant its tradition over diamonds, i think he meant its tradition full stop... but what difference does it make... hardly a point to get strung up over :)
Well I disagree, the meaning is complete different. Saying holding gold full stop is tradition implies that gold is trivial in the monetary system, that it's just for fun, just a ritual. And I'm pretty sure that's not what he or any other central banker thinks. Saying holding gold as opposed to diamonds is tradition means that's the traditional type of reserve.
@BlunderCity i could come back with about 4 ways to interpret what he said / meant... anyhow - you could be right - im just saying its not how i hear it ...
John, I'm hoping you'll do a video regarding the recent Andrew MacGuire interview (on KWN); your take on the topics he brings up, such as the new Chinese exchange for gold and silver.
Just realized something.... Ron says "the price of gold today is $1,580 - I watched the charts today pretty closely and it was not that high at that time. . (1582 right now) He KNEW it would go up at least that much. I hope he was short term invested accordingly. I pray that he does not end up like Garfield, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, or Kennedy at the hands of the bankers.
@mickeykeymoaw still neutral, despite the strong rally I cant turn bullish until $40 is taken out and holds... then I think we can kiss the 20's goodbye with relative assurance.
@Ernster86 the first gfc made the price of silver go nuts, and the american dollar and stocks dropped. why would it be different in the next [yes there will be another - the first hasn't even finished] 'gfc' ??

Here's the text word for word:
RP: Why do central banks hold it?
BB: Well it's a form of reserves, it's a form of r...
RP: Why don't they hold diamonds?
BB: Well it's tradition, long term tradition.

Sounds crystal pretty clear to me that what he said is that gold is the traditional form of reserve for central banks as opposed to diamonds.
