but the original was not garbage it was just the first to try this formula and it has just as much good platforming stuff as Sonic and the Black Knight. In fact there are allot of people that liked the original better because its more traditional and I think they are referring to the sword. I'm on nobody's side about it, but I see their point.

The game isnt going to be terrible at all its good ol' classic sonic running like crazy with no moron side characters getting in the way. Sonic wnet downhill when they created sonic riders that games really disapointed me and I have seen horrible reviews for sonic the hedgehog. Both sonic adventures were cool but i didnt really think it was worth 49$. The orignal sonic the hedgehog for sega genisis was awsome. All sonic games should just be about...Speed

all I'm sayin' is don't knock it till' ya' try it and well to be honest I've always liked both Nintendo AND Sega growing up and well, now that they're together I think things can only get better...(besides we all know Crush 40 will have another kick ass song prepared as the theme for it!)

i was a huge fan of sonic all my life, hell it was my first video game when i got a sega for my 5th birthday. then it went 3-D and sonic adventure 1 and 2 came out and i loved those even more. but this....i'm not so sure it looks really hard to control and like a lot of it is controlled for you...there is no sonic style tracks either like loops far jumps...just a little roller coaster on land it's funky

looks terrible to me. and it will continue to look terrible until the controls are the same as the classic controls. to hell with tilt sensors. save that style for excite truck and the racing games but dont ruin platformers with it...stupid sega

I just completed the original Sonic on my Virtual Console the other day (first time I've managed to do so), and now I crave more decent Sonic! Not crappy "adventure" titles to coincide with some anime. Proper Sonic the Hedgehog, and that is why I'm so looking forward to this game. Please be as good as you look! :D
