Case closed deserved better. Sure, it wasn't that bad, but I doubt it would appeal to anyone other than just Case closed fans. Much of the game is figuring out which notebook entry to put in the clue chain and at times there are only slight variations in the entries themselves that there is a lot of trial and error involved. If only it was like the movies where it can get so epic and thrilling at times (for a good example watch movie 4 or 5). I say that even though I did enjoy it.

@combinownage When it comes to people voice acting, they sometimes don't know the details of what it is they are being recorded for. Sometimes, they are just called, asked if they want the job, then head to the studio, and record. They most likely remember who it is they are playing as and what series it is( if they have worked with it before), but a lot of the time, the producers just ask them to come in and record some lines. So, she more than likely didn't know that it was for a video game...

In response to your question about "steamed eel", it was frequently mentioned...in the Japanese version. Genta's (George's) favorite dish is unaju, or steamed eel.

I believe the first time through this game took me a good 4 hours. Mainly because a big chunk of it is not knowing where the hell to go or what the hell to do. I wanted to do a walkthrough for that reason. No walkthrough of the game exists on the internet ANYWHERE. (Or at least that I can find.)

(for those of you who do not know, Detective Conan = the Japanese name of Case Closed. And they change the name of almost every charicter in the translation to English)

His first name only comes up once, and that is in one of the movies). But unlike Conan, his name has a heavy alteration by the Japanese accent. Although it is spelled the same, it is pronounced Meh-gui-er-ree.

@42jemini Actually, "Megure" is how it's spelled, and it's a Japanese word (I forget what it translates to, though). They picked "Meguire" because it was very close, though they have entirely different cultural backgrounds. Kinda like how "Ayumi" and "Amy" are similar if you say them fast.
