I have a 2400 too. I was wondering if you can still buy some of the drum tracks that you use with the vs8f-3 expansion board. I need to locate some. I like your songs too. Thank you for posting. I will watch all as I need to learn more about this unit.
Right On!...thought I was the only person on the planet who still had this gear, had it since 2002 I think...,straightforward, very reliable and easy to use
That looks like a really cool setup you have there. I use a Korg D16XD for my recording. I really like stand alone recorders except mine doesn't have a VGA out. :( My screen acts as a touchscreen though, so I guess that kinda makes up for the missing VGA out. What is that desk you're using? I'm looking for a desk to put my computer, recorder, and DR-880 on.
Yea, I really see the value in this hardware and I'm glad that I didn't abandon it. Solid all over and don't have to worry about crashes, viruses and stuff. I'd played it smart and bought another hard drive for this unit to have as a back up.

Your monitor has a slow frame rate, get a a cheap flat screen on ebay, you'll thank yourself.
