Excellent. I love old buildings but not brave enough to enter them most of the time in the day let alone at night. You should come to Australia, we have some great buildings and history and this is the sort of program that would help with restoration of the oldest asylum in the southern hemisphere in New Norfolk Tasmania. It is an incredibly spooky place in the day time, and I have managed to get some amazing photos, but night time... well too old and scared hehehe.

However we don't use a 99 dollar handicam. we film our show with a $5k professional canon XL series camera, proper editing, and we confirm to youtubes copyright guidelines by not using copyrighted music so we can reach larger audiences. Sharing my hobby with thousands world wide, instead of just a few hundred in from a single forum. I wish to entertain and share with as many as i can to increase awareness.
It's nice to see that you have updated some of the info. Since you don't have access to the DB entry on UER, know that the info on OAP is accurate for then more modern facts but this place dates back from the 1920s. Patients did die there as there was no treatment or cure for TB at the time but the ones that where well enough did spend time outside roaming the lovely grounds as it was part of the therapy. If anything, it was more of a palliative center that catered solely to TB patients.

I noticed the shadow or possible ghost around 3:54. If that was his shadow then how come it didn't follow his body movement? Notice it was standing still. Also,wouldn't your shadow be attached to your body? I noticed that it had not once moved.....creepy.

As a rule we dont like to take people along on trips anymore because of the inherent dangers and legalities. the more that come...the more chances of being caught. furthermore, we have no intentions of going back to the asylum. its 6+hours away from us. and our funding comes out of our own pockets for now. perhaps one day when we get bigger and have more subs..we can afford to plan group trips. but for now its not an option. cheers!

Amazing! Im addicted to abandoned buildings. Would love to go to a derelict hospital. What is the law in Canada when it comes to trespass? In England you cannot be arrested, not unless you have caused damage to enter a building, or are found with items that suggest you are there to steal or vandalise. England has quite a few abandoned asylums, and an awesome seminary. Its like stepping back in time there!
@DTSquance law in canada is pretty much the same. You can get a fine for trespassing...but most of the time they just ask you to leave unless you look like a thief or a vandal. Carrying around camera equipment helps. we look professional enough to just be asked to leave....

Out of all the lost & abandoned episodes this one is my favorite, that place was creepy as hell, I give you guys credit for going there. One thing I noticed is no where in this video is any part of the building vandalized. Personally I wouldn't go near that place, especially if people were locked in rooms until they died, if there were spirits they would be wanting to get revenge for what had happened to them.
@ndaguanno There was NO signs of vandals in the place because it was too remote. This was a 6 hour drive away and located in the middle of no where. Its very well hidden in the forest of northern ontario.
The crunching ice and it melting and dripping in the stairwell made this way cooler. The scream... how did you come to the conclusion it was just wind? That was a freaky sound, sheesh! Sounded like a pterodactyl flew into the mic! Love all these Lost and Abandoned videos!

@Inversion24 i explain the majority of the story in the episode. its an old mental asylum. had criminally insane or people they just never expected to get better...locked up and left here to die essentially. was eventually used as a TB treatment place as well. and by treatment...they also came here to die.
And we practically did spend the night. we left super early in the morning...but where there for a good 8 hours. that counts lol

I don't see them selling this as a major ghost hunt as they've admitted to seeing nothing like ghosts in their videos. @ndaguanno There was NO signs of vandals in the place because it was too remote. This was a 6 hour drive away and located in the middle of no where. Its very well hidden in the forest of northern ontario.

The crunching ice and it melting and dripping in the stairwell made this way cooler. The scream... how did you come to the conclusion it was just wind? That was a freaky sound, sheesh! Sounded like a pterodactyl flew into the mic! Love all these Lost and Abandoned videos!

Also...the music is original. we created a ton of music and variations to the music for our show so we didnt have to worry about copyrights. wanted something that was kinda creepy...but upbeat at the same time. :)

@Nico2625 sounds are very real mate. the "scream" is wind from the gusty hallway blowing on the boom mic. the other sound is the metal door we used to get inside...blowing shut.

@Inversion24 i explain the majority of the story in the episode. its an old mental asylum. had criminally insane or people they just never expected to get better...locked up and left here to die essentially. was eventually used as a TB treatment place as well. and by treatment...they also came here to die.
And we practically did spend the night. we left super early in the morning...but where there for a good 8 hours. that counts lol

I don't see them selling this as a major ghost hunt as they've admitted to seeing nothing like ghosts in their videos. Maybe a wheelchair scooting passed eerily or that shriek, but there is nothing in these videos except fun. Enjoy them.
