my pointer snores louder then my dad. she sleeps in another room too. one night i went to wake up to my dad to stop snoring.. it was my pointer.. i love GSP's!
@WhatYourKiddingRight Honestly? I don't think "adulthood" and "Pointers" can go in the same sentence! They will settle only when they are too old to run.
Pointers were bred to hunt. They are extremely active and somewhat independent. You have to give them plenty of space to run and burn all that energy. If they have that, you won't have any problems with them.
Take them to the river or beach, to a big park with a ball or a freesbie, buy a Walkie Dog to your bike and take them with you...
yes they are! but my older English setter who is between 10-13 yrs(we adopted him from a shelter and they werent sure of his age) doesnt want anything to do with him! hes such a grump! lol
Maybe your English Setter feels a little bit jealous of the puppy..., or maybe is just that in his "golden years" he doesn't want to be bothered any more by any hyperactive and demanding young dog.
You have to laugh when they get older and grumpier, I find it a bit endearing like they have earned the right. That said they usually come around how long has it been he is a NINE WEEK old pup, at that age they can test the most patient human -lol
i have a 2 1/2 year old german shorthaired pointer named harper and he snores like yours... and he acctually has the same markings as yours its kind of ironic
Aww my boyfriends family pointer used to snore he was adorable and i fell in love with him. he passed away last year now me and my boyfriend plan to get one when we get our own place
but it's not the fault of the poor dogs at the pets store that they are there either! It's never the animals fault we all can agree with that! and they all deserve care.
I agree with you, Sredns. I never said it was the dog's fault. I just said that if I ever was about to have another dog I would choose one from a shelter.
Of course they ALL deserve love!
It would be really simple for all the pet store's owners to verify the living conditions of the puppies they receive. But they just care about the profits, and that's why sadly there are puppy mills.
Inconspicuously by buying your dog from a pet store you could be helping the cruel puppy mills to thrive.
ahahah yeah maybe ! LOL(; i think our dogs just have breathing issues. ahahah =) mine grunts a lot too. but shes the most affectionate dog! We will never be able to get one like her again. its very rare to get one as affectionate as my brandy girl. =D
I think your next video project should be a symphony where Olive is snoring AND you are cracking your knees! (Chico can conduct and Lucky can operate the camera. Or vice versa.)
My pointer snores like that. He sometimes barks and growls in his sleep too :)

Thank you for your comment.
It's always very sad when one of our beloved pets pass away. They give us so much love!
All my pets were adopted or rescued. I would never buy a dog from a pet store. There are so many dogs in shelters waiting for a loving home!
They will give you the purest and deepest love for ever!
