for my hair journey, i'm only 14.. so does it make a big difference if i don't co-wash? what i wanted to do was wash and deep condition on that wash once a week, and use the saran wrap method. and then relax every 6-8 weeks. then clarify once a month and protein when i need it.

@misstrelle17 ... It depends .. If your natural there is really no way to straighten without some form of heat... You have a choice of straightening without direct heat ex. roller sets... If you choose to flat iron make sure you use a leave in and a heat protector

You are truly blessed, I only wish I could find one product line that I love, I'm getted tired of going to more than one beauty supply store. I'm all over the place. I'm using silk element relaxer, aphogee, & Chi. I tried the Nu Gro line and it didn't agree with my hair very well, it was changing my texture so I stop using it. This is the first i've heard of Bee Mine. I usually stick to the products that work lol. I'm going to look into Bee Mine though. Thanks so much for sharing. Be Blessed:)

After you moisture and seal every night, do you wrap your hair and cover it with a silk scarf or do you put it back into a ponytail with a silk scarf or do you braid it and put on a silk scarf. Or do you even use a silk scarf? Lol. Sorry for all of the questions, but I have been inspired to take this journey because of you. A lot of our hair growth is bad because noone teaches us how to take care of our hair from the start. I was taught grease your hair, comb and brush, flat iron, and perm it.

@Maar501 clarifying is when you shampoo to remove build up from product use. It means a really deep clean. I clarify with apple cider vinegar. after i shampoo, i pour a mixture of acv and water through my hair, then i rinse that out. clarifying can be pretty drying so make sure u moisturize afterwards.

Yeah, same regimen only I keep my hair in braids during the academic year and switch between two different conditioners- Giovanni and Aubrey Organics GBProtein. It has helped alot. I am sure I can reach 16 inches by my college graduation(May 2011).

Your lucky i really wanted to like suave humectant so so much, but it sucked so so bad, nothing like the old humectress. Guess i'll have to use sally's GVP humectress
