Once the towers were down, they started to come up plans to "Move" the metal away. Why was it that urgent when there could have possibly been people still trapped underneath? I don't think so. You're alleging that the building top part causes huge damage comparable to falling from top to the bottom (as if over the side) but when only falling floor by floor, not a great distance.

But I think what you say, Kevin, draws attention to what I suspect is the real truth about 9/11 & the twin towers. The reason the building collapsed as it did could be due to controlled explosions, safety-security explosives installed in the towers in case of a situation like this. >>

... Perhaps explosives were installed by officials a long time ago, maybe before the last bomb attempt on the towers, maybe after, maybe recently before Sept '01. Perhaps there were threats made to blow up the buildings' top parts and create the kind of destruction Kevin suggests. Should the top parts fall away from the towers, the impact would be massive and potentially over a very wide area - many towers in the district. >

The reasoning behind explosives being kept in strategic points in the twin towers would have been in such a situation as this, where the least destruction or loss of life may appear to be caused by having the towers "safely" implode upon themselves. There is sound reasoning, as warning may be given, or discovery, enabling evacuation of most people from the towers in a couple of hours, meaning controlled implosion would be the safest option.

Perhaps the officials acted in a way they are not proud of and now see that they caused more destruction. It may be embarrassment and a poor judgement that would be preventing admission of the controlled explosion of the towers.

Is what I am suggesting what people mean by 9/11 cover up, inside job, conspiracy? Or do people mean the whole thing - in some way official involvement in the airplane hijackings & crashes?

even if there were no bombs in the towers, how the hell do two towers hit at the top end up falling almost totally in their own footprint. i could understand the top section that was damaged falling down but the whole building? it seems aside from fire and debris, 3/4 of the towers were untouched.

those who seek the truth will find it whether what they think turns out right or wrong but either way it sure as hell beats sitting on your butt doing nothing and only knowing what your told.

Burning fires, jet fuel, crashing concrete, crashing pieces of steel and electrical transformers are just some of possibilities. All of them would produce sounds of explosions, some would actually explode, but that doesn't mean there were bombs in the buildings.

Insisting validity on such disproven information is dishonest, however.

However, where's common sense? It wasn't just the Twin Towers. There was also Tower 7, the Pentagon, & Shanksville. There are things in each of these components of 9/11, which don't add up.

How could a 47 story building completely collapse?

How come no evidence of planes-fuselage, luggage, engines, bodies, wing sections at either crash site?

Considering the fire department knew the WTC was going to collapse, due to intense fires in the building, any conspiracy steming from it is rather loony. 300+ firefighters died in the WTC, but they were concerned about them in building 7?

First off the jet fuel was gone in less that 30 seconds. There were explosions even before the first strike. There were obvious explosions 20 floors below the "pancake" zone.
