  • @thebladerunner11 Not me seeing as I already know, but many kids these days have got to learn about the music that shaped the future for us all. This music reflects life perfectly and children my age waste their time listening to crap that doesn't have meaning or even make sense, thanks for the reply.

Can't wait to see Roger Waters performing the Wall live in Athens........

  • I seen roger perform on veterans day last year in philly and during the show they would put up soldiers who died in all the wars including todays & one of the last ones they showed was his dad eric waters, italy, 1944

  • This movie is.... Waouh !

  • Fuck off American Idol.

  • how can somebody do not like this perfect song!!

  • Sad but True

  • rs.. that boy remembers me :(

  • The little boy has such an innocent face. Who would have guessed he'd grow up to be a lonely and messed up rock star?

  • @capebee Director? :-)

  • what would happen if the man asked him "where is your dad"

  • @TheVlajko Pa nije on budala, hteo da mu vidi kevu :-)

  • Musicians have a way of influencing like no other. But all i can say is LONG LIVE PINK FLOYD!!!

  • :)))))

  • Chef d'Oeuvre.

  • @jumpfart666

People don't have to spam video's with your blatant crap just to exclaim they like rock you know, not everyone is a complete idiot.

  • @Shotgunner56 thank you some people should need a license to have a computer, jerks, dolts, haters, homophbes, and assorted others who have to post some worthless idea that has nothing to do with the vid. i cant understand it. its like blockbuster by mail, they allow anyone to review a movie and you see posts that are from people who say they havnt sen the movie wtf?? or they give away the ending. why???? glad you arent an idiot and you can ride shot gun with me anytime lol -12 gauge i hope

  • @TheMrtimmy28

I have no idea what rambling, incoherent, idiotic response I just read,

    but honestly, get over yourself.

You're replying to a 10-month old comment, for what?

Are you THAT insecure you let such words penetrate your psyche so?

    Pathetic.

  • @Shotgunner56 i hadnt listened to this song in over a year and saw your comments even if it was 10 months old, i agreed with you and tried tp make a point which you are obviously just too stupid to understand. did you look up all those big words like psyche and insecure in a dictionary , SO GO FUCK YOUR SELF ASSHOLE, CAUSE YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO UNDERSTAND THE POINT I WAS MAKING dont bother with a reply shitwad unless you'd like to include your adress for a fist to face metting, scumbag

  • @TheMrtimmy28

    This is fucking hilarious.

    Please reply more faggot.

  • I always knew I was lucky to have my Dad with me like a real true friend, this album just confirmed it.

  • saw this movie last night. ive never tripped like that at all....

  • you took the words outta my mouth

  • 1:02 best part of the movie

  • @ripousse hmm why

  • @TheCOB98 The kid is pissed off at his dad because he went to war.

COuple of minutes later , while playing on the swingset, it seems he really realises that he doesnt have a father.

What is you best part ?

  • @TheCOB98 why dont you have your real age on your channel ?

  • @ripousse hmm why

  • the playground scene makes me wanna cry

  • puikus filmas

  • this is one great movie

  • This movie is one great trip.

  • noo, i'm sorry but it was WWII! they mention in the song "When the Tigers Broke free" that his daddy died at Anzio, a battle that was in 1944. Also if you look up a Roger Waters bio that can be easily confirmed. People might be confused because of the helmets the soldiers in the movie wear, they wore those in both world wars and all the way up until the 1960s i think.

  • about time somebody sets the people straight about roger waters and his father and the wall album in general

  • Well, not everybody

But on Radio and TV they just always play pt2

That sucks, i´d like to hear the other two on media as well!!

  • the reason they dont play part 3 is cuz its only like 1min and 3 seconds, i like part 3 the best out of all of them

  • didnt one of there dads die i WWII i forget who that was

  • Yes one of their dads did die, but it was WWI. And I'm pretty sure thats the point of this specific song. How the main character Pink loses his father and it helps to build the mental wall around him.

  • Waters' father was born in 1913, and WWI lasted from 1914 to 1918.

I doubt he fathered a child, fought in the war, and died by the age of 5 : /

It was in the 2nd World War that he fought and died. The war with Hilter, nazis, fascism, bombs falling on London, etc.: all things addressed in the album.

  • actually gilmour and waters' fathers perished in WWI

  • roger waters dad died in ww2

  • Roger's dad.

  • CLASSIC

  • I love so much when he says "daddy what'd ya leave behind for me?"

    Gives me chills every time

  • Same here!!!

  • yes, everybody only knows part2

but pt.1&3 are much more better than the second

  • everybody?? well i'm not everybody

  • i agree 100%

  • IDK why everyone likes pt 2 so much, I think pt 1 sounds much better tbh.

  • Three words to say: A Classic Song

  • i agree with hippieinmississippi u really cant compare them at all

  • haha i guess it is if your ignorant

  • PWNED

  • You cant compare David Gilmour and Hendrix... they played two completely different types of music... Hendrix was God with the blues... Page was the Dark Lord of psycadellic... Iommi was the master of Metal... and Gilmour was the best with progressive... They all are the best at what they played...

  • But you can Compare Roger Waters to David Gilmour. David Gilmour FTW!!!!!

  • Waters is kind of a prick IMO.

  • I beg to differ on that one...Gilmour was a pretty good singer but an amazing guitarist. If it weren't for Waters this album (and obviously many others) would never be the same/as good or even exist! I like Waters better because he has lots of feel and is a mad genius in music.

  • nothing compares to PINK FLOYD!

david gilmore is the best guitarist out there and hes not overrated like jimmy hendrix

  • Almost any candidate for best guitarist would tell you Jimi was the best... and most of them have.

  • django reinhardt would fuk em all up

  • He's definatly a candidate for coolest guitar player.

  • well thats wat its like being a rocksatr man lmao, get fucked up on shrooms then smoke a couple joints, luv it :)

  • this si kind of depressing... but i love their album

  • really i didnt understand this movie untill i seen it high haha...but this is a great movie stoned or not...Roger Waters was AMAZING in this movie...just goes to show you how fucked up things are...

  • loooveee iit!

  • This movie is phenominal. Truly breath-taking

  • This song is about

    how roger waters had

    no dad growning up

  • One of the saddest things I've ever seen...I think it is the best anti-war promo.

I can't avoid crying whenever I see it.

  • @ebow70 This is not an anti war prmo....

  • @Unforgottenalways Yes, but what ebow70 is saying (I think) is that the emotional weight of this gives it a better anti-war message than many other things designed to be anti-war statements. It is superior to them without even trying.

  • @ebow70 I heard this movie was banned in russia or somewhere.

  • that is sad... but I keep watching it, I love this movie.

  • @zinfandel66 i have watched it about 30 times lol

  • great movie!
