Another sign is how Tabuu's spinner weapon looks when it's thrown. If it looks almost stable as it passes, it's also on Intense.

Alright children, let me set the record straight. There are a few hints in Intense mode that give it away that it is, in fact, on intense difficulty. Take Porky's Laser attack for instence. If it were on any other difficulty, the laser would meerly travel off of the machine and onto the ground for a couple seconds. (6:21-6:25) the the laser is that insanely fast, it is on Intense Mode.

To the doubters using damage as their reasoning; keep in mind that bosses take more damage the earlier in that you face them.

Bosses that appear later in the challenge, regardless of who they are, generally have better defense and thus take less damage per attack.

So, yeah, in the beginning, on intense, Bowser really does do that much damage.

The damage he does becomes a bit less as the battles progress.

All that jiggly puff is good for is when you do perfect timing with it's rest technique. other than that and (depending on the stage size) it's final smash, it's a completely useless character who is as bad in smash ad magikarp is in pokemon. Jigglypuff doesn't even desrve to be in smash and I hope it doesn't appear in the fourth game, if there is going to be one that is.

:P the way you face galleom lends itself to alot of errors. there is an easy way to take him out, taking 0 damage, with any character. just sit as his feet, and just after he begins to start an attack, sideways dodge to behind him. the attack will miss, and you can rack up a hit or two more on him before doing another dodge. easy 0% defeat.

Actually Bowser is one of my best, but I know it's possible to beat Boss Battles on Intense, I've beaten the other modes with him and this video encourages me to beat it on the intense setting with him.

I agree with you cause I'm a diehard Bowser fan and I hate it when somebody gets on because he's slow. he was the strongest in melee and the second strongest in brawl(next to dedede). no wait I hate it when they get on all heavy/power/slow characters because of that BS. the power characters are always gonna be slow in fighting games and half of the fast characters are always gonna be weak for example Fox, Diddy, Pikachu, Pit and Marth are some of the fast characters that are weaklings.

Actually, he's still stronger than Dedede.  Dedede's forward smash simply launches them further. Bowser retains the stronger fully charged smash in the game, as his forward smash can deliver a whopping 46% if the whole thing connects, compared to Dedede's fully charged forward smash, which only delivers 33%. And Bowser isn't as slow as detractors claim.

Lucario works because as he gets more damage he does more damage, its hard but getting to 100%+ on intense boss battles is amazing in power, (Aura sphere helps too)

Kirby's hammer has two hits and is fast, simple as that

-the explosive teleportation(its so unpredictable)

-the angel wings (takes practice to dodge)

-the imitation of the hook shot from zelda majoras mask(very hard to dodge cause its so fast)

I'm working on a No Damage run with Bowser. It's much more frustrating than with Yoshi. I've made it past all the bosses without taking damage, but not in succession. I've gotten past 7 about 4 times then I screw it up by doing something retarded.
