I wonder if he was slated to be the one to take the belt from Warrior before Vince & Hulk Hogan crafted the Sgt Slaughter/Iraq War angle for Hogan to look like a hero. Rude wouldn't fit in that angle, but Slaughter would, especially since he was from the AWA & making him a traitor to his country was the best way to trash him. Maybe that's why Rude left towards the end of 1990. I'm not sure if it happened that way or not, but if it did, I'd be pissed too if I was in his place.

I agree that Triple R Ravishing Rick Rude did deserve to have a run with the WWF World Heavyweight Title but you must remember that its the promoter that decides who can have a run with the belt. Vince lost a great future legend who made it when he went to WCW. I don't know why Vince won't compete with TNA, NJPW, and other wrestling organizations around the world like when every January4 with is Wrestling Day in Japan also known as Wrestle Kingdom in the Tokyo Dome. Just imagine.

I don't know why but I always loved this song. I liked it better than his WWE theme. Yeah it's a little hocky and maybe a little gay but you can stary that about Micheal's theme as well. I mean you can look any of those pretty boy themes and say they are gay comes with the territory.

He was 3 time WCW International World Champ (beat Flair, Hase, and Sting). His career actually ended with him winning the belt the 3rd time. Even after he was severely injured halfway in the match, he still went on to take nasty bumps and finished the match. Wrestlers nowadays would never do that. He was actually injured throughout his 3 world title reigns and continued to work through it, taking all sorts of bumps. His 1st match against Hase where he lost the belt was great.
A damn shame he had to quit, and an even bigger one that he died-- I've heard he had rehabbed to the point that he was planning a comeback. Imagine a scenario that saw Hogan come in and beat Flair for the WCW World title, leading to a unification match between Hogan and Rude...even better [and this is a HUGE stretch], imagine if Hogan actually did what was good for the business and exchanged clean wins with him.
I know. I really wish they would have kept the 2 World titles seperate.
Rude actually had rehabbed to the point where he did come in the ring and Rude Awakened Bret Hart IIRC at a 1998 PPV. I think he was still rehabbing. I have no doubt he would have returned. I was afraid at the time that he would get crippled if he returned. I wish he would at least still be alive. He was a class act in real life.
Rick Rude was my all time favorite heel in wrestling and this was one of my favorite wrestling themes. I can't believe there's not a Rick Rude DVD yet!

I really liked the song. Everyone's right, it is hokey and corny and definitely kinda gay, but for some reason it fits.
I liked his WWF theme equally well, because I have so many memories of it, but the two themes couldn't more different from each other stylistically.
Except for the face that both themes may be equally gay.

I don't know why but I always loved this song. I liked it better than his WWE theme. Yeah it's a little hocky and maybe a little gay but you can stary that about Micheal's theme as well. I mean you can look any of those pretty boy themes and say they are gay comes with the territory.

You know what's funny chuninofcool? I could imagine the singer of this song doing multiple takes by just laughing at these shitty lyrics. But still: its a bad song, but it is so unintentionally funny that i get mucho entertainment value from it.

Most of WCW themes was kinda corny. 4 or 5 was good. Rick Rude theme was his best theme & the best WCW theme made.

He was 3 time WCW International World Champ (beat Flair, Hase, and Sting). His career actually ended with him winning the belt the 3rd time. Even after he was severely injured halfway in the match, he still went on to take nasty bumps and finished the match. Wrestlers nowadays would never do that. He was actually injured throughout his 3 world title reigns and continued to work through it, taking all sorts of bumps. His 1st match against Hase where he lost the belt was great.

A damn shame he had to quit, and an even bigger one that he died-- I've heard he had rehabbed to the point that he was planning a comeback. Imagine a scenario that saw Hogan come in and beat Flair for the WCW World title, leading to a unification match between Hogan and Rude...even better [and this is a HUGE stretch], imagine if Hogan actually did what was good for the business and exchanged clean wins with him.

Rude actually had rehabbed to the point where he did come in the ring and Rude Awakened Bret Hart IIRC at a 1998 PPV. I think he was still rehabbing. I have no doubt he would have returned. I was afraid at the time that he would get crippled if he returned. I wish he would at least still be alive. He was a class act in real life.
