@drakonimetal Battles 1 and 2 are regular battle themes. Over the Hill is a map theme that plays on Zidane's levels in story mode.

FFIX was indeed a great game, the story had amazing ups & downs, but it loss it's amazingness right after Alexandria battle, where all gets a bit... straight. The only thing I didn't like was... the change they made that explains the midget-like look of absolutely every one living in the FFIX universe, why the change? Square lost it there imo.

And the other thing, the characters, if you actually took some of them, the story wouldn't be affected a bit. But I still liked it to the end ^^.

No offence but the plotline at 7 was alot weaker than 9 I think. Thou I believe 7 had a much stronger antagonist. Mostly because I think 9's antagonist was like some Super ultra homo or something like that.

@Sagemaster00 7's Antagonist was a whiny baby that wanted mommy. 9's was actually...pretty close to something like that as well. Or at least that's what he lacked. Friends and all.

And then there's the final boss...e n o....and the secret final boss....and other bosses. Lots of hidden stuff in 9, gotta love it.

It makes a lot of sense if you play it through, I like final fantasy 9 so much more than the rest just because it went back to the way final fantasy was originally portrayed, with a fighter, a mage and a summoner. Instead of like for example in 7 and 8 where you could dress them up to your liking. =]

I'm not saying I don't like 7 or 8. Don't misunderstand me =]

They made a really big jump in graphics from FF9 to FF10, but I still love 9 the most. Best music and story line if you ask me.
