A way to get past school blocks is download lime wire beta on school computers. use the explorer built in lime wire idk if it will work but people have said fire fox use to not get blocked maybe using another browser might work.

If you think it's going to work its not. NSW schools in Australia have a really good blocking thing. It's not possible to unblock them.

1.)Open Notepad

2.)Type "Command" (without the quotes)

3.)Save the file to your desktop as "anything.bat" (without the quotes)

4.)Double Click the icon...and guess what happens...CMD opens...so much easier than your open heart surgery...haha

to go on the school computers cmd goto notepad and make another batch file and save it somewhere, or you can write this batch file at home and save it to a disk or something. and then open it on the computer.

write this on notepad:

as you are logging on to your school computer, rip the network cable out of the back then open notepad and type in:

START C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CMD

then save as a bat (Name.bat) file

then create create a desktop icon and open it, it should bring up CMD w00t!

Ok, I may only be a teenager but I know 5 computer programming/scripting languages. That will just 'ping' the website and anyway, if the school doesn't set you as an admin (be honest, why would you be allowed to be an admin)you also might not be able to get command prompt. And also... schools usually use regulated routers which will block certain incoming websites, so you have another problem. Your best bet is a proxy (server) site.

There are some great things you can do with group policy... like disable cmd... also, ping is a network too. All it does is send IMCP packets to a target machine, and then listens for the target to reply. It measures trip time and packet loss. That is all.

ok 1. search youtube there is a way to get to command prompt, 2. my school has "super" computers too, but they are not at all as super as you think, all it does is log your usage data and it will take screenshots of your computer, all data is probably cleared every few weeks or days, in order to keep school costs low, dont worry u wont be caught

The other way is to access the internet options if the admin hasnt restricted the access to them and add your own proxy which you can find if you google it. Another way is to download and install a program onto a USB Drive that will detect the proxy settings on your computer and let you bypass them even allowing you to use programs like msn. But yer what this lad is doing is just pinging the site. TPH

Best way is to find a website that hosts an anonymous browser using its own proxy server that will then bypass the the schools proxy which is what blocks the sites you want to use. TPH
